Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this here… whatchamacallit… “XL Boss” anime. Yeah, that’s it. Don’t ask me what “XL” means, sounds kinda dirty if ya ask me, but that ain’t none of my business.
So, this story is ’bout a gal, Saki somethin’-or-other. She’s workin’ in some office, you know, the kind where they wear them fancy clothes and clickity-clack on them keyboards all day. Poor thing’s broke, can’t even buy herself a decent meal, I reckon. So, she goes and gets herself another job, part-time like. And what does she gotta do? Test out some kinda rubber thingy, a big one at that. Lord have mercy!
Now, this ain’t no ordinary job, no sirree. She’s gotta give her, uh, “review” to her boss, this fella named Keisuke somethin’. And wouldn’t ya know it, she ain’t too fond of him. Calls him a “demon boss,” can ya believe it? Probably one of them grumpy old men who thinks he knows everything.
- The anime’s called “XL Boss,” but they also call it “XL Joushi” sometimes. Sounds fancy, but it’s all the same, far as I can tell.
- It came out in Fall 2019, so it ain’t exactly new, but it’s still somethin’ folks are talkin’ about. Guess it must be pretty good, or maybe just plain weird, can’t never tell with these young folks’ entertainment these days.
- They got all sorts of things in this here anime: characters, stories, staff, reviews, and even “custom lists,” whatever that means. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss to me.
They say this Saki girl is one of them “OL stock characters.” Don’t ask me what “OL” means, sounds like somethin’ you put in your car. Anyways, these “OL” gals are all over them “josei” manga and anime things. Apparently, they’re pretty, smart, and always dreamin’ of somethin’ better than their boring jobs. And their families are always naggin’ at ’em, just like my kids nag at me to make ’em more biscuits.
This anime, it’s got episodes, just like them soap operas on TV. You can even find a “guide” to see what happens in each episode. I ain’t got time for that, myself. I got chores to do and chickens to feed.
This “XL Boss” thing is finished, they say. Completed. So, I guess there ain’t no more new episodes comin’ out. That’s probably for the best, gives folks time to catch up on their chores, like me.
Now, from what I hear, this anime is kinda… spicy. You know, the kind that makes you blush and fan yourself with a newspaper. That big rubber thingy Saki’s gotta test? Yeah, that’s what I’m talkin’ ’bout. Don’t go watchin’ it with your grandkids around, unless you wanna have a long, awkward conversation.
Some folks call this “XL Boss” manga “Futoi Sakippo… Haitteru…!” Sounds like a foreign language to me, but I reckon it means the same thing. Big boss, big… you know. These young folks and their fancy names, I swear.
So, there ya have it. That’s the lowdown on this “XL Boss” anime, as best as I can tell ya. It’s about a gal, a big rubber thingy, a grumpy boss, and a whole lotta other stuff I don’t quite understand. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch and you ain’t afraid of a little… spice, then maybe give it a try. But don’t blame me if you end up blushin’ like a beet.
