Alright, let’s yak about some songs, the ones with “wild” in the name. You know, like them songs they play on the radio, or maybe on that there… whatchamacallit… Spotty-something? Yeah, that thing the young’uns use.

Lots of “Wild” Songs Out There
Now, I ain’t no fancy music expert or nothin’, but seems like there’s a whole heap of songs with “wild” in the title. Heard tell it’s a popular word, like “love” or “heartbreak.” Folks like singin’ about bein’ wild, I guess. Makes sense, life can be right wild sometimes, y’know?
- Like, there’s this song, “Wild Thing.” Everybody and their grandma seems to have sung it. Heard it’s been around a long, long time. Some fellas called The Troggs, they did a version. Was it rock? Was it blues? Who knows! Sounded loud to me, that’s all I know. They say that song’s been recorded more times than a rooster crows at dawn.
- Then there’s other songs, newer ones, about bein’ wild. Fast songs, slow songs, all kinds. Some gal named Normani, she sang somethin’ ’bout a “Wild Side” with another gal, Cardi B. Catchy tune, gotta say. Heard it on the TV when I was visitin’ my niece.
- And there’s a bunch more, I tell ya. Songs about bein’ wild in the woods, or bein’ wild in the city, or just plain wild in the heart. Heck, I even heard a song about a “wild cryin’,” or somethin’ like that, it borrowed some noise from some fella named Van Halen. Goes to show, even wild things can borrow from each other, eh?
What Makes a Song “Wild”?
Now, you might be askin’, what makes a song “wild”? Well, I reckon it’s different things for different folks. Sometimes it’s the beat, gotta be fast and loud, like a runaway train. Sometimes it’s the words, talkin’ ’bout doin’ crazy things, breakin’ the rules, livin’ life on the edge. And sometimes, it’s just the feelin’ you get when you hear it, makes you wanna tap your feet and maybe even holler a little.
Where to Find These Wild Songs
If you wanna hear these wild songs for yourself, well, there’s that Spotty-thing I mentioned. Heard it’s got all sorts of music on it, albums and singles and whatnots. And them young’uns, they watch them songs on a… You-Tube, I think they call it. Little videos to go with the music. Me? I mostly just hear ’em on the radio, when I’m cookin’ or cleanin’. Sometimes a good wild song is just what you need to get through a long day.

More Than Just a Word
You know, it ain’t just about the word “wild” bein’ in the title, though. It’s about the feelin’ behind it. It’s about bein’ free, bein’ yourself, not carin’ what other folks think. It’s about lettin’ loose and havin’ some fun, even if it means gettin’ a little bit crazy. Life’s too short to be tame all the time, ain’t it? Sometimes you gotta let your wild side out.
From Old to New, Wild Stays Wild
Like I said, been hearin’ about “wild” songs for ages. From them old rock ‘n’ roll fellas to these new pop singers, everybody’s got a little wild in ’em, seems like. And whether it’s a wild party song or a wild heart ballad, there’s somethin’ ’bout that word that just grabs ya. It’s got that energy, that somethin’ special. Speaks to somethin’ deep down inside, I reckon.
So Many Artists, So Much Wildness
Heard there’s even some fancy fellas, like A$AP Rocky and James Bay, they done made some of these “wild” songs too. Don’t know ‘em myself, but if they singin’ ‘bout bein’ wild, they must be alright. Seems like everybody wants a piece of that wild pie, you know? And why not? It’s a good pie, a tasty pie, a pie that makes you wanna get up and dance a jig.

Wild Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere
Anyways, that’s my two cents on them “wild” songs. They’re out there, all kinds of ‘em, for all kinds of folks. And I reckon they ain’t goin’ nowhere anytime soon. People gonna keep singin’ about bein’ wild, and people gonna keep listenin’. ‘Cause deep down, we all got a little wild in us, whether we admit it or not. And sometimes, it’s good to let that wildness out, let it roar and let it soar.
The End of My Yakkin’
Well, I’ve yakked enough about this “wild” business. Time for me to go make some supper. But you go on, listen to some wild songs, see what you think. Maybe you’ll find one that makes you wanna howl at the moon, or maybe you’ll just tap your toes a little. Either way, it’s all good. Just remember to have a little fun, be a little wild, and don’t take life too serious. That’s what I always say.
