Well, I tell ya, I just don’t get these fancy TV things. My grandson, he set me up with this AMC Plus thing. Said I could watch my show, The Walking Dead. I like that show, with all the zombies and the folks trying to survive. It’s a real hoot, you know?
But now, that show, it’s gone! Vanished! Like a fart in the wind! I was watchin’ it just fine, and then poof! Why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus? That’s what I wanna know. I’m payin’ for this thing, ain’t I? Should be able to watch what I want.
I was watching that one fella, Daryl. Real quiet type. Good with that crossbow. And that Michonne, she’s a tough one. Good with that sword thing. They were all fightin’ them walkers, those flesh-eatin’ things. Exciting stuff! And then, nothin’. Just gone. Makes a woman mad, I tell ya.
My grandson, he tried to explain it to me. Somethin’ about… licensin’? And agreements? And other platforms? Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. If I’m payin’ for AMC Plus, I should get The Walking Dead. It’s as simple as that.
- I pay money.
- I should watch show.
- Show gone.
- Me confused.
He says there’s somethin’ called Netflix. Another one of them watchin’ things. Says maybe The Walking Dead is on there. But I already got this AMC Plus! Why do I need another one? It’s like havin’ two cows but only one gives milk. What’s the point?
And then there’s this Apple TV thing. Heard someone say it’s on there now. Apple TV? What’s that gotta do with zombies? It’s all so confusing. I just wanna watch my show. Why they gotta make it so hard? I just want to find out why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus.
Now they say there are new shows. Spin-offs they call ’em. Somethin’ about that Daryl fella gettin’ his own show. Might be good, I reckon. But I still want to see the rest of the first one! They can’t just leave me hangin’ like that. It ain’t right.
They say the old show ended. Ratings went down or somethin’. And it cost a lot to make. Don’t know about all that. Alls I know is, I liked it. And now I can’t watch it on this AMC Plus thing that I’m payin’ for. It’s a real head-scratcher. I just wish someone would tell me straight up why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus.
My grandson, he says this new Daryl show, it’s comin’ soon. September, he says. Says it’ll be on AMC and this AMC Plus. Well, I hope so. Maybe then I’ll finally get my money’s worth. But I still want to know what happened to my other show. It’s just not right.
Maybe if enough of us folks complain, they’ll bring it back. A woman can hope, can’t she? I just want to watch my zombies! Is that too much to ask? I need them to tell me why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus. It’s a matter of principle!
These young folks today, they’re always messin’ with things. Changin’ this, movin’ that. Can’t they just leave well enough alone? I just don’t understand it. It’s all a big mess, if you ask me. A big, confusing mess. All about this The Walking Dead show, and where it’s gone off to. And why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus?
Now I’m hearin’ that you gotta pay extra to watch it. Even if you already payin’ for the whole shebang. Makes no sense! It’s like chargin’ extra for the salt after you bought the whole dang meal. They tell me I need to know about AMC Plus Program Guide, but what I want is my show back! I want to watch The Walking Dead!
They say only the new season is on AMC/AMC+. The old ones are gone. Gone to Netflix, gone to that Apple thing. Gone to who knows where. Like a chicken that’s flown the coop. It’s all because the old seasons are syndicated, whatever that means. What I want to know is why is The Walking Dead not on AMC Plus.
