Well, well, well, lookie here! You wanna know which one of them folks from that “How I Met Your Mother” show you’re most like? Shoot, I watched that show. That Ted fella, always yappin’ about findin’ the one. And that Barney, always in them fancy suits, chasin’ skirts. I tell ya, young folks these days… Anyway, you wanna know which one of ’em you are? Let’s get to it then, it is a hot How I Met Your Mother quiz!

First off, let me tell ya, there’s that Ted Mosby. Lord, that boy could talk the ears off a donkey. Always goin’ on and on about destiny and true love and all that mushy stuff. He’s a good egg, I reckon, just a bit, ya know, stuck in his head sometimes. Reminds me of my nephew, bless his heart, always dreamin’ bigger than a barn. So, if you’re one of them dreamers, always lookin’ for signs and whatnot, always think about love, you might just be a Ted. He’s an architect, ya know, builds things. Important job, I suppose. He wanna find his true love and he tells the story to his children. Ted is the main character, you know.
Then there’s that Barney Stinson. Now there’s a character for ya. Always wearin’ them suits, sharp as a tack. But slicker than a greased piglet, that one. He’s got a line for every lady, I tell ya. And them magic tricks? Pulled more rabbits outta hats than a magician at the county fair. If you’re the life of the party, always got a joke up your sleeve, and maybe bend the truth a little bit, a tiny little bit sometimes, well, you might just have a bit of Barney in ya. He’s a charmer, alright, but don’t you believe everything he says. He works some fancy job, never could figure out what exactly. But he makes a good livin’, that’s for sure.
Now, let’s talk about Marshall Eriksen. Big as a house, that one. And sweet as honey. He’s a lawyer, a real smart fella. Married to that little Lily Aldrin. They’re two peas in a pod, them two. Always there for each other, through thick and thin. If you’re a loyal friend, always got your buddies’ backs, and you believe in that happily ever after stuff, then you might be a Marshall. He’s got a heart of gold, that one. And he loves his games. Board games, video games, you name it. He’s just a big kid at heart. Marshall and Lily are so sweet. They are the best couple in this show, I think.
And that Lily, she’s a firecracker. Little, but mighty. She’s a teacher, deals with them little rugrats all day. Takes a special kind of person to do that, I reckon. She’s got her own mind, that one. Don’t let her size fool ya. She’ll stand up for what she believes in, no matter what. So, if you’re the kind that’s always lookin’ out for your friends, and you ain’t afraid to speak your mind, even if it ruffles a few feathers, then you might just be a Lily. She’s a good one, that Lily. Always paintin’ and doin’ artsy stuff. She’s got a real talent for it, I’ll give her that.
Then you got that Robin Scherbatsky. She’s a news reporter, always chasin’ the big story. Came all the way from Canada, ya know. She’s independent, that one. Doesn’t need no man to take care of her. She’s tough as nails, but she’s got a soft side too. Don’t let her fool ya. If you’re the type that’s always on the go, always strivin’ for somethin’ more, and you value your independence, then you might just be a Robin. She’s a go-getter, that one. Always climbin’ that career ladder. And she loves her some hockey. A real tomboy, in some ways. She don’t like talk about feelings too much, that Robin. If you are a career woman, you are Robin.
- Ted: Dreamy, romantic, always searching for “the one.”
- Barney: Charming, a bit of a player, loves suits and magic tricks, and the best character in How I Met Your Mother.
- Marshall: Loyal, sweet, loves games, a big softie.
- Lily: Fiery, independent, loves art, a good friend.
- Robin: Ambitious, independent, loves hockey, a bit reserved.
So, which one are ya? Are you a hopeless romantic like Ted? A smooth operator like Barney? A loyal friend like Marshall? A firecracker like Lily? Or a go-getter like Robin? This is a very popular quiz. Think long and hard now. It ain’t always easy seein’ yourself for who you are. But it’s important to know.

Now, this ain’t a science, mind you. This is just how I see things. People are complicated. You might be a little bit of all of them. And that’s okay too. We all got different sides to us. Just like a quilt, all patched together. You can find a lot of How I Met Your Mother test. But this one is the best. Take your time and find the answer.
Just remember, be yourself. That’s the most important thing. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Unless you wanna be Barney, then maybe try a little. Just don’t go breakin’ any hearts now, ya hear?
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say on the matter. Hope you figure out which one of them “How I Met Your Mother” folks you are. It’s a good show, that one. Makes ya laugh, makes ya cry, makes ya think. Just like life, I suppose. Just like life…
