Okay, so yesterday I was just messing around online, you know, procrastinating as usual. And I stumbled upon this quiz thing – “What Futurama Character Are You?” I thought, why not? It has been a long time since I watched Futurama, let’s give it a shot.
I clicked on it, and the first page was just an introduction, nothing fancy. There were buttons to start the quiz, and a “Take later” option. I mean, who would take it later? It also said something about “21K Takers,” wow, that’s a lot of people wasting their time, just like me. So, I started.
The questions were kind of weird, to be honest. One of them asked me to choose songs from a playlist based solely on the title, and it claimed to assign me a gender based on that. That’s just nuts, right? But hey, I played along, picking some random songs. There are many questions like “How intelligent are you out of ten?”.
Then there were a bunch of questions about “Futurama,” like, “If you were an intergalactic being on Futurama…” I didn’t even remember much about the show, but I guess I’m somewhat familiar with it, so I just answered based on what I thought sounded cool or funny.
As I went through the quiz, I started seeing names of characters I vaguely remembered – Leela, the Professor, Fry, Bender, Dr. Zoidberg, Hermes, Amy, Zapp Brannigan, and some others. There was also one question asking, “Did you ever suspect that the characters in Futurama where based on your life?” I mean, come on, that’s a bit of a stretch, but okay.
I also noticed some parts talking about a character named “Amy Wong, Ph.D.” It said she’s a doctor from Mars, klutzy, and fickle about her appearance. I don’t really remember her, but that’s a fun fact, I guess.
After answering all those random questions, I finally got my result. Drumroll, please… I’m apparently most like… Bender! Yeah, the robot! I’m not sure how I feel about that, but it’s kind of funny. I mean, who doesn’t like Bender, right?
So, that was my little adventure with the “What Futurama Character Are You?” quiz. It was a fun little distraction. Maybe I should rewatch “Futurama” sometime. Or maybe I should just find more silly quizzes to take online.
