Well, well, well, let me tell ya a little somethin’ ’bout this manga called “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.” Now, this one’s a bit of a wild ride, so hang on tight. It’s the story of a young fella named Iruma Suzuki, a fourteen-year-old boy who’s had the worst kinda luck ya can imagine. Imagine bein’ sold to a demon by your own folks, just so they could get some quick money. Yeah, ya heard me right—his parents just up and handed him over to a demon. Now, I know what yer thinkin’, “What in tarnation?” But that’s how it goes in this story, I guess.

Now, after Iruma gets handed over, things take a turn, an’ not a bad one either. The demon that gets him, well, he ain’t your regular bad ol’ monster. This demon, named Sullivan, decides he ain’t gonna eat Iruma like ya might think. Instead, he treats him like a grandson! Can ya believe that? And not only that, he does somethin’ real crazy—he sends Iruma off to school. But not just any school, oh no, it’s a demon school! A whole school full of all sorts of strange and scary demons. I don’t know about you, but I’d be about ready to run home by then.
But, as luck would have it, Iruma has to make his way through this demon school, where the students and teachers ain’t exactly what you’d call “friendly.” Yet, this poor boy, who can’t even say no to folks, ends up making his way through, tryin’ not to get into too much trouble. Ya see, he’s got this talent—or curse, dependin’ on how ya look at it—where he’s too nice for his own good. That’s how he gets by in this crazy world.
Now, the manga’s been goin’ for quite a while, started way back in 2017. It’s been serialized in a magazine called Weekly Shōnen Champion, and let me tell ya, it’s still goin’ strong. They even made an anime outta it, so if ya ain’t a big reader, ya can watch the TV show too. Ain’t that somethin’?
As the story goes on, Iruma starts makin’ friends, but he’s also gotta watch his back. ‘Cause the demons in the school ain’t just there for a good ol’ time—they got their own agendas. And Iruma, well, he keeps endin’ up in the middle of all sorts of messes. There’s always somethin’ goin’ on, and the poor kid can’t catch a break! But, through it all, he learns a lot about himself, and, believe it or not, he starts to gain a bit of respect among the demons. They even give him a fancy rank, Aleph—now that’s somethin’ for a human, don’t ya think?
But there’s still a lot of questions hangin’ around. Who’s gonna end up with Iruma? And will he ever get back to his old life? The manga’s still rollin’, and folks are always wonderin’ what’s gonna happen next. Is the story near its end? Some say it might be closin’ up soon, but who knows? There’s still plenty of wild adventures left to be had in this demon world.
If ya haven’t checked out this manga yet, it might be worth givin’ it a try. You might get hooked just like everyone else. Whether ya like comics or just wanna see how a boy survives a school full of demons, “Iruma-kun” sure is a story worth lookin’ at. So, if ya find yerself in need of somethin’ new to read, maybe give this one a whirl. It’s funny, full of surprises, and it just might make ya laugh out loud. But if you ask me, I’d say it’s a bit of a wild ride that’s got a heart as big as Iruma’s! Don’t miss out on the fun!
