Well, let me tell ya, this “Tada de wa Dakaremasen” thing, whatever it is, sounds like a whole lotta somethin’. I ain’t no fancy book reader or nothin’, but from what I gather, it’s one of them picture books, like them comics my grandson used to read.

What’s all the fuss about?
Now, they call it “Manga,” sounds foreign, don’t it? Folks are readin’ it all over, or so they say. This “Tada de wa Dakaremasen,” it’s got chapters and volumes, just like a real book, but with pictures. Heck, they even got discussions about it online, on them computery things. “Chapter 6 Discussion,” they say. Sounds like a hen party, but with more talkin’ and less cluckin’.
Who’s this Miyako Kirishima gal?
Seems like there’s this girl, Miyako Kirishima. She’s a student, tryin’ to be a teacher, bless her heart. Probably got her nose in the books all day. They say she’s in somethin’ called “Chapter 24” and “Chapter 12.” Busy girl, I tell ya. Reminds me of my niece, always runnin’ around, tryin’ to do ten things at once.
- Miyako Kirishima: A student and aspiring teacher.
- Lots of chapters: People are talkin’ about Chapter 6, Chapter 12, Chapter 24, Chapter 46, and even Chapter 52! That’s a whole lotta story.
- Volumes too: Just like them old encyclopedias my husband used to have, this thing comes in volumes. They’re talkin’ about Volume 1 and Volume 6.
Reading it on MangaDex, whatever that is.
And where do folks read this “Tada de wa Dakaremasen?” On somethin’ called “MangaDex.” Sounds like a fancy library, but for them picture books. They got Chapter 52 there, and Chapter 46, and even somethin’ called “Nakano’s Study Session” in Volume 1, Chapter 2. Study session? Sounds like hard work to me. I’d rather be out in the garden, pullin’ weeds.

Reviews and history, fancy stuff!
Now, some folks, they write reviews about it. Imagine that! Writin’ about a picture book! They say it’s “thought-provoking” and “emotionally resonant.” Big words, them. Means it makes ya think and feel, I reckon. And get this, they even got a “full history” of it. Like it’s some kinda important event, like the time the cow got loose at the county fair. Someone even edited it last on 02/28/24. They keepin’ track of this thing like it’s gold!
It’s got a proper Japanese title too.
They say it’s got a “Proper Japanese Title” too: タダでは抱かれません. Looks like chicken scratchin’s to me, but I guess it means somethin’ over there. Probably somethin’ fancy, like “The Adventures of Miyako and Her Teachin’ Dreams.”
Is it worth readin’?
So, is this “Tada de wa Dakaremasen” worth readin’? Well, I ain’t read it myself, but seems like a lot of folks are. They’re talkin’ about it, writin’ about it, and readin’ it all over. Must be somethin’ to it. Maybe it’s got a good love story, or maybe it’s funny, or maybe it just makes ya think. Who knows? But if you got nothin’ better to do, and you like them picture books, might be worth a gander.

Final thoughts from a simple woman.
Me? I’ll stick to my soap operas and gardenin’. But hey, to each their own, right? If this “Tada de wa Dakaremasen” makes folks happy, then good for them. Just don’t expect me to understand all them fancy words and discussions. I’m just a simple woman, and that’s all there is to it.
Anyway, that’s my two cents on this “Tada de wa Dakaremasen.” Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. Don’t want ‘em burnin’ now, do we?
