Well, lemme tell ya, there ain’t much on the telly these days that’s worth a hoot. But I do like to watch my shows. And I hear tell there’s some good ones startin’ with the letter Y. So, let’s see what we got, shall we?

Now, I ain’t one for them fancy words, but I reckon I can tell ya ’bout some shows. Y, it’s a tricky letter, that one. Not like A or B, that’s for sure.
My grandkid, he’s always on that there internet thing, he told me about a few. Says there are these lists. Lists of everythin’, seems like. So, here is what I know from him about tv shows starting with Y.
- You – That’s one I heard of. Sounds creepy if you ask me. Some fella stalkin’ a girl. Not my cup of tea, but the young folks seem to like it.
- Yellowstone – Now this one I’ve seen a bit of. Cowboys and ranches. It’s got that Kevin Costner fella in it. He’s a big shot, you know. Lots of fightin’ and carryin’ on. Keeps ya on the edge of your seat, I reckon.
- Yellowjackets – This one’s about some girls, soccer players I think, plane goes down, they end up in the woods. Eatin’ each other, maybe? Don’t rightly know, sounds a bit much for me. But I hear it’s popular.
There is also some old shows that start with Y, but those are harder to find. You can’t just turn on your TV and find them. Some are gone for good, and some you need special things to watch them, I think.
More TV Shows with Y – The Young and the Restless
Then there’s that soap opera, The Young and the Restless. My sister, bless her heart, used to watch that one religiously. Every day, same time. Lots of pretty people, lots of drama. They’re always fallin’ in love and breakin’ up and schemin’. Kept her entertained, I suppose. I never could get into it myself. Too much fussin’ for me.
I remember one time, she called me up all excited, sayin’ “You won’t believe what happened on The Young and the Restless!” I said, “Well, probably not, seein’ as I don’t watch it.” She told me the whole story anyway. Sounded like a whole lot of nothin’ to me.
There is also some shows for kids that start with Y. I don’t know them, because I don’t have little kids at home anymore. But I am sure there are some good ones. Just like the other shows, you can find them on those lists on the internet.
Finding TV Shows with Y – It Ain’t Easy!
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, findin’ these TV shows starting with Y ain’t the easiest thing in the world. You gotta know where to look. And sometimes, even when you find ’em, they ain’t what you’re expectin’.
Like I said, that You show, sounds downright scary. And Yellowjackets, well, I just don’t know about that one. But Yellowstone, that’s a good one. If you like cowboys, that is.
- You gotta be careful what you watch these days.
- Some of it’s just plain trash.
- But there’s some good stuff out there, too.
- You just gotta find it.
- And sometimes, it’s hidin’ behind a letter like Y.
The Best TV Shows Starting with Y – My Two Cents
If I had to pick, I’d say Yellowstone is the best of the bunch. It’s got action, it’s got drama, it’s got that Kevin Costner. What more could you ask for? But that is just me. Maybe you want something different. Maybe you like scary, or maybe you like those young adult shows. There is something for everyone.
