Alright, let’s talk about these actors, you know, the fellas on the TV and in the movies. The black actors, yeah, the ones everyone’s always yappin’ about. 2024, they say it’s their year, or maybe every year is their year, I don’t rightly know. Folks keep tellin’ me they make a whole heap of money, more than I ever seen in my whole life, that’s for sure.
The Big Shots, The Money Makers
Now, who they talkin’ about the most? Will Smith, that’s who! Been around forever, they say. Folks tell me he was in all sorts of movies, “Independence Day,” something about aliens, I reckon. And “Men in Black,” them fellas in black suits chasin’ aliens too, I guess. Heard he made a pile of money, enough to buy a whole town, probably. Before all them superhero movies, he was the man, they tell me. The real deal.
Then there’s Denzel Washington. Now, he’s a serious fella. Seen him in a few pictures, even I have. Always playin’ these strong characters, you know, the kind that make you think. “Training Day,” that was a rough one. And “Glory,” about the war, I think. Heard he won all sorts of awards, gold statues and such. People respect him, that’s for sure. He’s like the elder statesman of the bunch, been around a long time, just like Will Smith.

More Than Just the Big Names
But it ain’t just them two, no sirree. There’s a whole bunch of ’em. Young fellas too, comin’ up fast. They say there’s this John David Washington, don’t know if he’s related to Denzel or not. Folks are buzzin’ about him though. Said he’s been makin’ a name for himself, doin’ good work.
And it ain’t just movies neither. They on TV too, all them shows. Heard there’s black actors everywhere you look these days, which is a good thing, I reckon. Back in my day, you hardly saw any, not like now. Times are changin’, I guess.
Black Actors Through the Years
Now, they tell me black actors been around since the beginning, since them picture shows started. There was this Sidney Poitier fella, way back when. A real pioneer, they say. Opened doors for everyone else. And then there’s all these comedians and rappers gettin’ into movies too. Heard they makin’ folks laugh and makin’ money at the same time. Smart fellas, I tell ya.
2024 and Beyond
So, 2024, what’s it mean for these black actors? More movies, more money, I suppose. They keep comin’ up with new shows and pictures all the time. Hard to keep track, if you ask me. But it’s good to see, all these fellas gettin’ their chance to shine. They workin’ hard, makin’ somethin’ of themselves. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, no matter who you are.
The Best of the Best?
People always arguin’ about who’s the best, who’s the most talented. But I say, they all good in their own way. Some make you laugh, some make you cry, some make you think. That’s what actors do, right? They tell stories. And these black actors, they tellin’ some mighty fine stories these days.
It’s a Long List
They give me this long list of names you know? All these famous black actors, 25 or somethin’ like that. I can’t remember them all, but there are a lot of ’em doin’ good work. From them big action movies to them serious dramas, they coverin’ it all. And that’s a good thing, keeps things interestin’. They say some of these fellas are even the highest paid actors in the whole world. Can you believe that? Makin’ more money than I can even imagine.
Anyways, that’s what I hear about these black actors in 2024. They workin’ hard, makin’ a name for themselves, and entertainin’ folks all over the world. Good for them, I say. Good for them.
