Well, howdy there! Let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Takeda Hiromitsu. I ain’t no fancy book reader or nothin’, but I heard tell he’s a big deal in them Japanimation stories, you know, the ones with the big-eyed gals and fellas fightin’ all the time.
They call ’em “manga,” I think. Sounds like a fruit, don’t it? Anyways, this Hiromitsu fella, he writes these mangas. One of ’em is called Maken-ki! Sounds like a ruckus, right? It’s about some high school kids, I reckon. One of them’s named Takeru Ooyama. Poor boy’s gotta go to a new school after bein’ with just boys all the time. Probably a shock to his system, ha! He’s got a friend there too, some girl named Haruko Amaya. They’re probably up to no good, them young’uns.
Now, I ain’t read this Maken-ki! myself. Too busy milkin’ Bess and feedin’ the chickens, ya know? But folks say it’s real popular. Seems like this Hiromitsu fella, he wrote a bunch of them books. Seventeen, maybe even forty-five! Goodreads, whatever that is, says so. He’s got a bunch of ratings too. Folks like readin’ his stuff, I guess. One of ’em’s called Ima Real. Don’t ask me what that means. Probably somethin’ deep.
- Maken-ki! is a big one though, that’s for sure. They even made it into one of them movin’ picture shows, what do ya call ’em… anime? Yeah, that’s it. All them fancy colors and fightin’. Kids these days, they love that stuff.
- And there’s another book called Maken-ki 01. Maybe it’s the first one? Who knows. All these numbers and titles, makes my head spin.
This Hiromitsu fella, he seems like a busy bee. Writin’ all them mangas and gettin’ folks all riled up. I heard tell he even makes them little plastic toys too. You know, the ones the kids like to collect. Japanese PVC figures, they call ‘em. Land sakes, what won’t they think of next?
Now, I ain’t know much ’bout all this fancy book learnin’ and Japanimation stuff. I’m just a simple woman, you know? But I figure if folks are readin’ his books and watchin’ his shows, then this Takeda Hiromitsu fella must be doin’ somethin’ right. He’s tellin’ stories, and that’s what matters, I reckon. Just like we used to do around the fire, back in the day. Only now they got pictures and fancy words.
Interesting facts, they call ’em. Like knowin’ how many books this fella wrote or what his most popular one is. Folks like knowin’ these things. Makes ’em feel smart, I guess. Or maybe it’s just somethin’ to talk about when you’re sittin’ around with nothin’ to do. Like when you’re waitin’ for the rain to stop so you can go feed the pigs. You start talkin’ ’bout anything and everything. And sometimes, you learn somethin’ new. Even if it’s just ’bout some fella writin’ mangas over in Japan.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout this Takeda Hiromitsu fella. He writes books, makes toys, and tells stories. And that’s a good thing, I reckon. Keeps folks entertained. And Lord knows, we all need a little entertainment now and again. Life’s too short to be serious all the time, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on Bess. That cow’s always gettin’ herself into trouble.
