Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with finding songs that have the word “hand” in the title. It’s a random thought, I know, but I figured it’d be a fun little experiment. Here’s how it all went down.

First, I opened up my browser and started brainstorming. I thought, “Where do I even begin with this?” I needed a solid starting point, a place where I could find a bunch of song lyrics. A website called “Genius” popped into my head – I’ve used it before to look up lyrics. So, I typed that into the search bar, hoping it would be a good resource.
Then, I remembered a few other platforms, Deezer and YouTube, that might be helpful. I decided to keep those in mind as backups in case Genius didn’t have everything I needed.
Once I was on the Genius website, I started searching for “hand” in their song database. I figured their collection of lyrics would be massive, so it was worth a shot. I typed “hand” into the search bar on Genius, and… boom! A ton of results. But it was overwhelming! I needed a way to filter them.
I also tried searching on Deezer. I signed up for a free account and typed “hand” in their search bar as well. The results were okay, but not as extensive as Genius, at first glance.
I kept digging through the Genius results. There were so many songs! Some were obvious, some were a bit of a stretch, but hey, I was committed.
I then opened YouTube and looked for a song with “hand” in the title, just to see if anything cool would pop up. There were a bunch of music videos and live performances, which was pretty neat.

After messing around on these platforms, here’s what I ended up with:
- “Hand in My Pocket” – This one’s a classic, and it was one of the first results on Genius.
- “Shake Hands with Beef” – I found this one through the Genius search too. It’s a bit out there, but hey, it fits the criteria!
- “Hand Me Down” – Another good one from Genius. It’s a bit more mellow than the others.
- “No Hands” – I found this one on YouTube and a few other places. It’s a popular one, so it was easy to find.
Overall, it was a fun little journey. I discovered some new songs and revisited some old favorites. Genius was definitely the MVP here – their database is seriously impressive. Deezer and YouTube were cool for finding music videos and different versions of songs, but Genius was the best for just pure lyric hunting. It was a good way to kill some time and explore some music I might not have found otherwise. The internet’s a wild place, man, you can find almost anything if you just poke around a bit.
What necessary words… super, magnificent idea
In my opinion you are not right. I suggest it to discuss. Write to me in PM.
You joke?
