Alright, let’s talk about this Lauren Daigle girl and her show in Portland. I heard she’s singin’ at some place called Moda Center, and another place, Rose Quarter – Theater of the Clouds. Sounds fancy, huh? Don’t know much about her, but folks seem to like her music. They say she’s won some awards, Grammys or somethin’. Big deal, I guess.
Now, they’re sellin’ tickets all over the place. SeatGeek, Ticketmaster… Sounds like a whole lotta trouble just to hear someone sing. But I reckon people enjoy it. They say she’s got a new song, “Thank God I Do,” and some other hits. Not my kind of music, probably, but to each their own, right?
This show, it’s on November 16th, 2023. That’s a Thursday, if I remember right. They say some fella named Josh Garrels is gonna be there too. And there’s talk of other folks like Blessing Offor, Victory Boyd, and Ellie Holcomb joinin’ her on some other dates, part of some big “Kaleidoscope Tour” next year, 2024. Sounds like a whole shebang! They even got VIP packages, whatever that means. Probably just fancy seats and some free snacks, I’d imagine.

This Lauren girl, she was on that American Idol show, you know, the one where they sing and folks vote? Tried out a few times, they say. Didn’t win, but seems like she did alright for herself anyway. Made it to Hollywood, but got cut. Then she tried again and got cut again. Guess that didn’t stop her, did it? Now she’s singin’ in big places like the Moda Center. Shows you, persistence pays off, even if you get knocked down a few times.
And there’s this other girl, Megan Danielle, on American Idol now. They say Lauren Daigle surprised her or something. Don’t watch that show myself, too much drama for my taste. But folks seem to like it.
Anyway, if you wanna go see this Lauren Daigle sing, you gotta get tickets. They say you can buy ‘em online. Don’t ask me how, I barely know how to use this here phone. But the young folks, they know all about that stuff. They say it’s easy. Just go to Ticketmaster or SeatGeek or whatever and find the tickets. They say it’s best to buy ‘em quick, ‘cause they sell out fast. Especially for a big show like this. And seems like AEG Presents is promotin’ the show, whatever that is. Sounds important.
Portland’s a big city, lots of folks there. I bet that Moda Center is a big place. Probably hard to find a good seat. And the parking, don’t even get me started on the parking. Always a hassle in the city. But if you like her music, I guess it’s worth it. People go to all sorts of trouble for entertainment these days. Me, I’d rather sit on my porch and listen to the birds sing, but that’s just me.
