Alright, so today I wanted to mess around with something a little different – finding songs about computers. Sounds kinda geeky, right? But I figured it’d be a fun little project, and hey, who knows what hidden gems are out there.
First Steps: Brain Dump
First thing I did was just sit down and try to think of any songs I already knew that were about computers, or at least had some kind of techy theme. My brain was pretty much blank. I could barely remember some old songs. I am not that familiar with these topic. So, that wasn’t super helpful, but it was a start.
Hitting Up the Search Engines
Next, I fired up my trusty search engine. I tried a few different searches, like “songs about computers,” “songs about technology,” and “electronic music with computer themes”.
- I typed in “best songs about computers”.
- Then I tried “songs with computer references”.
- I even searched for “computer-themed music”.
I spent a good chunk of time just clicking through different results, I opened a bunch of tabs and start listening.
The Results?
I did this whole deep dive, and now I’ve got a fun little playlist of computer-themed tunes. Some are obvious, others are more subtle, but they all have that cool, techy vibe.
