Well, let me tell ya, there’s a whole bunch of songs out there with “time” in the title. Don’t ask me why, but folks just love singin’ about time, I guess. It’s like they can’t get enough of it. Makes ya wonder, don’t it?

Some folks sing about wastin’ time. You know, like that Britney Spears song “…Baby One More Time.” Heck, I don’t know what she’s wastin’ time on, but it sure sounds catchy. Then you got Pink Floyd with their “Time.” That one’s kinda long and goes on and on, just like time itself, I reckon. But it’s got a good beat, you can tap your feet to it.
Then there’s the songs about wishin’ for more time, or lookin’ back at time gone by. Whitney Houston, bless her soul, she sang “One Moment in Time.” That one’s a real tearjerker, makes you think about all the moments you wish you coulda held onto tighter. And Cyndi Lauper, she’s singin’ “Time After Time,” about stickin’ with someone through thick and thin, you know, through all the times life throws at ya.
- “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston – A real powerful song, makes you wanna cry and hug your loved ones.
- “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper – A sweet song about bein’ there for someone, no matter what.
- “…Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears – Catchy tune, even if I don’t quite get what she’s on about.
- “Time” by Pink Floyd – Long one, but it gets ya thinkin’, you know? About time and stuff.
And let’s not forget Prince, that fella was somethin’ else. He’s got a song called “Sign Of The Times.” Now, that one’s a bit more serious, talkin’ about the world and all its troubles. But it’s got a good message, makes you think about what’s important.
There are songs about time runnin’ out. Like you’re in a hurry, gotta get somewhere, gotta do somethin’ before it’s too late. I can’t remember all the names, but I’ve heard ’em on the radio. They make your heart race, make you wanna get up and do somethin’ with your life before it’s all gone.
And then there’s the slow songs, the ones about rememberin’ the past. Songs about lookin’ back at all the good times, and maybe some of the bad ones too. Those songs make you feel kinda warm and fuzzy inside, like you’re sittin’ by the fire with a cup of tea, just thinkin’ about life. They remind you of people you used to know, places you used to go. Time, it does fly by, doesn’t it?
Coldplay, them fellas got a song called “Clocks.” It’s about, well, I guess it’s about clocks. But it’s more than that, it’s about how time keeps movin’, tickin’ away, no matter what you do. It’s a good song, even though I don’t always understand what them young fellas are singin’ about.

There’s just so many songs about time, it’s hard to keep track. Some are happy, some are sad, some are fast, some are slow. But they all got one thing in common: they’re all about time. And time, well, that’s somethin’ we all got, ain’t it? Whether we’re young or old, rich or poor, we all got the same amount of time. It’s what we do with it that matters, I reckon.
So, next time you hear a song with “time” in the title, take a listen. Really listen. You might just find yourself thinkin’ about time in a whole new way. And that ain’t a bad thing, is it? Nope, not bad at all. Time is precious, and we ought to make the most of it. That’s what I always say.
Anyways, I could go on and on about these songs, but I reckon you get the picture. There’s a whole heap of ’em, and they all got somethin’ to say about time. Just gotta listen and see what they mean to you. That’s all there is to it.
