Okay, so I had this idea to make a list, right? A list of TV series, but with a catch. Each series had to have just one word in its title. I thought it would be a fun little project, and maybe I’d discover some cool shows I’d never heard of before. So, I started brainstorming and jotting down all the one-word titled TV series I could think of.

At first, it was easy. I had a bunch of shows coming to mind: “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” “Cheers” – wait, those have more than one word. This was going to be harder than I thought. I spent a good chunk of time just racking my brain for titles.
Then I hit the internet. I searched for things like “one word TV shows” and “TV series with single-word titles.” I found some lists other people had made, and those helped a lot. I also browsed through IMDb, looking for inspiration. I discovered some interesting titles that way, like “Collateral,” “Requiem,” and “Jamestown.” Never heard of them before, but they sounded intriguing.
I started organizing my list, grouping shows by genre, by the era they came out, stuff like that. It was actually pretty fun to see how many different kinds of shows fit this one-word title rule. I even stumbled upon a bunch of mini-series, which I’m now super interested in checking out.
My List:
- Collateral
- Requiem
- Jamestown
It was a cool experience. I realized how many shows out there actually have these short, catchy titles. And, I now have a bunch of new shows I want to watch. This little project turned out to be way more interesting than I expected. I might even make another list, maybe with two-word titles next time. Or maybe I’ll just binge-watch some of these one-word wonders I found.
