Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here “logh mobile game,” whatever that means. Kids these days and their fancy names! Sounds like a whole lotta nothin’ to me, but my grandson, that young whippersnapper, he’s always glued to his phone playin’ it. So, I figured, what the heck, I’ll try and make some sense of it for ya.
First off, this game, it’s like those picture books, but they move! My grandson says they call ’em “apps” or somethin’. And this “logh” one, it’s got spaceships and battles and all sorts of explosions. Reminds me of that noisy movie we saw at the town fair last year, all bang-bang and pew-pew. Lots of fightin’, that’s for sure. My grandson, he’s always yellin’ about “fleets” and “commanders” and who’s gonna win some war or another. Lordy, the noise!
Now, from what I gather, this game’s got a story, a long one too. Like one of them soap operas my neighbor Mildred watches, goes on and on forever. My grandson says it’s from some book or somethin’, about galactic heroes and empires and whatnot. Sounds complicated if you ask me. Too much thinkin’ for my old brain, I tell ya.
- Spaceships flyin’ around.
- People yellin’ orders.
- Big ol’ battles in the sky.
They got these things called “characters” in the game. Little pictures of people, I guess. My grandson’s always talkin’ about this one fella, some kind of leader or somethin’. And there’s another group, fightin’ against the first one, I reckon. It’s all a bit confusing, like tryin’ to follow a chicken in a windstorm. But the kids, they seem to love it.
And the money! Oh, the money they spend on this thing! My grandson, he’s always beggin’ me for a few dollars to buy some “loot boxes” or some such nonsense. Says it helps him get better spaceships or somethin’. Sounds like a racket to me, but what do I know? Back in my day, we played with sticks and stones, and it didn’t cost a dime. Now you need to pay real money for pretend things! Go figure.
This game, it’s on your phone, see? That little box everyone carries around these days. My grandson, he can play it anywhere, anytime. At the dinner table, in the car, even when he’s supposed to be doin’ his chores! Drives me batty, I tell ya. But I guess that’s how things are these days. Everyone’s always lookin’ at their screens, like they’re hypnotized or somethin’.
And the game, it’s got different versions, I hear. Like different seasons of a TV show. My grandson says they keep makin’ new ones, with more characters and more stories. He calls ’em “seasons” or “updates” or somethin’. Keeps him busy, that’s for sure. Maybe too busy, if you ask me. Kids these days, they don’t know how to just sit still and enjoy the quiet.
Now, I tried playin’ it once, this “logh mobile game.” Just to see what all the fuss was about. Couldn’t make heads or tails of it, I tell ya. Too many buttons and menus and things flashin’ on the screen. Gave me a headache somethin’ fierce. Left it to the youngsters, I did. My old fingers ain’t made for that kind of tappin’ and swipin’.
But I guess it ain’t all bad, this game. Keeps the kids entertained, I suppose. And my grandson, he seems to learn a thing or two from it, about history and strategy and such. Though I still think he’d be better off readin’ a good book or playin’ outside. Fresh air and sunshine, that’s what kids need, not more screen time. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady ramblin’ on. So, if you’re lookin’ for a game with spaceships and battles and a long, complicated story, this “logh mobile game” might be just the ticket. Just don’t blame me if you get addicted and start spendin’ all your money on it!
