Okay, so I wanted to make a list of, like, the best movies about funerals, you know? So I started by just thinking about all the ones I could remember off the top of my head. I jotted those down in a little notebook I keep for these kinds of projects.

My Initial Brain Dump
- Four Weddings and a Funeral – Classic, right?
- Death at a Funeral – There’s a British one and an American remake.
- Maybe some others, could not remember immediately.
Then I went to searching key words on the internet. I typed in stuff like “best funeral movies,” “movies with funeral scenes,” and “films about death and mourning.” The first page was full of so many recommendation, I felt great.
I went through a bunch of the results, mostly blog posts and listicles.I opened some in new tabs so I could compare them later. I avoided any that looked too clickbaity or had titles like “Top 10 Funeral Movies You Won’t Believe!” You know the type.
As I read, I added more titles to my notebook, trying to only pick ones that actually seemed focused on funerals, not just ones with, like, a single funeral scene in them. It’s all about, you know, quality.
I have to watch them later, one by one!
