Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this here story, this “gogoanime married to the girl I hate” thing. It’s about these two young’uns, see? High school kids, just babies really.
This boy, Saito Ho-something, yeah, Saito Hojo, that’s it. He’s one of them smarty-pants kids, always gettin’ good grades. And then there’s this girl, Akane Sakuramori. Now, she ain’t dumb neither, but she always comes in second to this Saito fella. Always second, can you imagine? That’d make anyone a little salty, wouldn’t it? So yeah, they hate each other’s guts. Like cats and dogs, I tell ya.
But wouldn’t ya know it, somethin’ weird happens, some “strange circumstances” the city folks call it. And BAM! These two, they gotta get hitched. Married! Can ya believe it? Two kids who can’t stand each other, tied together like a couple of chickens at the market.

Now, this ain’t no ordinary marriage, mind you. It’s a secret, see? They gotta keep it hush-hush from the rest of the class. Can’t let nobody know they’re hitched. “If you tell the rest of the class we’re married…” that’s what they say to each other, I bet. Imagine the gossip! High school kids are worse than hens in a coop when it comes to clucking about others’ business.
So, this whole thing, this anime, it’s about how these two gotta figure out how to live together. A rom-com, they call it. That means funny and lovey-dovey, I guess. But how can you be lovey-dovey with someone you hate? That’s the big question, ain’t it? They gotta learn to live in harmony, without gettin’ on each other’s nerves. Easier said than done, let me tell ya.
This Himari Ishikura girl, Sayumi Suzushiro is her name, she is part of the story too. Always comin’ in second to Saito. Must be tough, always being second best. And there’s this other girl, Momoe Sawaki, voiced by Hinaki Yano, she’s in it too. Lots of characters, lots of drama, that’s what makes these stories interesting, I reckon.
They’re makin’ a whole cartoon about it, see? An anime, they call it. Comin’ out in January 2025, so I hear. Some company called Aniplex, Japanese folks, they’re makin’ it. And they even got a song for the endin’, a theme song, fancy stuff. It’s called “I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class,” or somethin’ like that. In Japan, they call it “Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Suru Koto ni Natta.” Long name, huh? Can’t hardly pronounce it.
So, this whole story, it’s about learnin’ to get along, I guess. Even with someone you can’t stand. Maybe these two young’uns, they’ll figure it out. Maybe they’ll even start likin’ each other. Who knows? Love works in mysterious ways, they say. Makes you do crazy things, like marryin’ your enemy. But that’s what makes life interestin’, don’t it? All the twists and turns, the ups and downs. Just like a bumpy road in the countryside, you never know what’s around the next corner.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. A boy, a girl, a secret marriage, and a whole lotta hate-turned-maybe-love. Sounds like a good time, if you ask me. Maybe I’ll even watch this cartoon myself, see what all the fuss is about. Though I reckon I’ll need someone to explain all them fancy words and city folks’ ways to me.
