Oh, this movie “Drive,” let me tell ya, it’s one of them action flicks, real intense. They made it with about $15 million, not a penny more, from what I heard. It all started back in 2010, right around September 25th, and the whole thing was shot in Los Angeles. That city, well, it’s got its charm, I suppose, but they chose it mostly ‘cause of the budget. The director, this fella Refn, he got Ryan Gosling to drive him ‘round the city at night, just like they do in the movie. Pretty neat, huh?

Now, this movie ain’t just your regular action film. No sir! It’s got this stuntman fella, real mysterious type, don’t say much, but boy, does he drive. He ends up in some big trouble, all because he wanted to help out his neighbor. Her husband gets mixed up in robbing a pawn shop, and our guy, well, he’s the getaway driver. Things don’t go too well with them gangsters, let me tell ya, and before you know it, there’s a whole mess to clean up.
Stills and Photos
Oh, the stills from this movie! If you’re lookin’ for pictures, posters, and all that jazz, you won’t be disappointed. They got stills from the movie that just scream “cool” with all them neon lights and night scenes. The posters, well, they’re something else too. They show the driver, all serious like, with his leather gloves and that shiny car. Makes you feel like you’re right there in the middle of it all, zoomin’ down the streets of L.A.
It’s got this whole vibe to it, ya know? You got the pictures from behind the scenes too, where they’re shootin’ the film. You can see the whole crew workin’ their magic, setting up the cameras and whatnot. And the wallpapers – they’re so crisp, you’d want one for your computer or phone, just to feel like you’re part of the action.
Why People Love Drive
- The music, oh my, that music in the movie is somethin’ else. It just pulls you in, like a tractor in the mud. Folks just love how it fits with all them car chases and quiet moments. Real moody, I reckon.
- Ryan Gosling, well, he don’t talk much, but he sure drives like the wind. People like him, always in control, calm like nothin’ can bother him.
- And then there’s the style – all them night shots with the city lights. It’s gritty, but kinda pretty, if ya know what I mean.
If you ain’t seen it yet, well, you can rent or buy it on places like Apple TV or Google Play Movies. Ain’t hard to find. Just search for it, and there it is, waitin’ for ya.

What Makes This Movie Stand Out
It’s more than just car chases and action scenes, though. There’s a lot of heart in it, believe it or not. The driver, he’s got this bond with the neighbor lady and her kid. He wants to protect ‘em, but it ain’t easy with all the bad guys around. You feel for him, even though he doesn’t say much. Sometimes, actions speak louder than words, ain’t that right?
And that ending, whew! It’ll leave you thinkin’, for sure. Not your usual happy ending, but one that sticks with ya, like a piece of gum on your shoe. But that’s what makes it good, I reckon. A movie that gets ya thinkin’ long after it’s done, now that’s somethin’ worth watchin’.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ with action, heart, and a whole lotta style, you might wanna give “Drive” a look. Just make sure you’re ready for a wild ride!
