Hey, let me tell ya somethin’. You know that book, “Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine”? Well, it’s gonna be a movie! Yep, they’re workin’ on turnin’ that book into a film. MGM’s behind it, them folks who make all them big movies. This book’s by Gail Honeyman, a big hit it was, lots of folks read it, ya know?
Now, people are askin’, “When’s this Eleanor Oliphant film gonna come out?” Hoo boy, if I knew that, I’d be tellin’ everyone in the village! But truth is, we don’t have a fixed date yet. They’re still workin’ on it, but it’s comin’ soon. I heard from somethin’ called Deadline, I think that’s one of them fancy Hollywood websites, they say it’s in the works. So ya gotta be patient a little longer!
And oh, ya know who’s supposed to be playin’ Eleanor? Word is, it might be Felicity Jones. Now, I don’t know much about them big city actresses, but she’s been in a few big films, so folks say she’s good for it. And there’s James McAvoy too, they’re thinkin’ he’ll be Raymond, that’s the guy who helps Eleanor. Now, I like that James fella, seen him on the TV once or twice. He’s a good lad.
And guess what? Reese Witherspoon, ya know her? Well, she’s involved too! She’s one of the ones helpin’ get this movie made. She’s real big in Hollywood, been in lots of them movies. But I don’t know what role she’s playin’ yet. Maybe she’ll surprise us all, who knows?
Now, I know ya might be wonderin’ about the other folks in the movie, like the director and all that. But there ain’t been much talk yet ’bout the full cast and crew. These movie people like to keep secrets, I guess. But sooner or later, we’ll find out. That IMDb thing, that’s where folks check who’s doin’ what in movies. It’s like a big ol’ library, but just for movies.
So, what’s the date again?
Well, like I said, no one knows for sure just yet. But if they’re already talkin’ about the actors and all that, I reckon it won’t be too long now. Might be next year or somethin’, but don’t take my word for it. Best to keep an eye on all them movie news sites like Deadline or that IMDb place. They’ll know before we do!
All in all, if you’re excited ’bout the Eleanor Oliphant film, you ain’t alone! Lots of folks are waitin’ to see it. Me? I’ll be watchin’ for the date just like everyone else. Hopefully, it’ll be here before we know it.
