Oh, let me tell ya, this new comic book from DC – called DC All In Special – it’s somethin’ else, lemme tell ya! This book came out right after another big ol’ story they had called Absolute Power, and, well, seems folks went crazy for it. Ain’t hardly hit the shelves ‘fore it was all sold out! Now, they say it’s goin’ back to print, meanin’ they’re makin’ more ‘cause people just gotta have it!
This DC All In Special #1 ain’t like the regular comics you might know. Nah, it’s somethin’ like a one-shot, meanin’ it’s just one issue, but it packs a punch! You got yer big heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, all takin’ on some mighty big trouble. And who’s the troublemaker? Why, it’s that ol’ nasty Darkseid and his Absolute Universe! I tell ya, I might not know a heap about superheroes, but I know when there’s big trouble brewin’ and, well, that sounds like a heap of it.
Now, this here story don’t just start outta nowhere. See, it picks up after Amanda Waller’s big defeat, which was a whole other story itself. I reckon it musta been somethin’ real serious ’cause this All In Special has got all these heroes jumpin’ in like their tails is on fire!
But, listen here, this DC All In Special #1 is written by two big names over at DC – Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson. From what I hear, these fellas have written a lotta these kinda stories, so folks know they’re gettin’ somethin’ good. And the art, oh my, now that’s by Daniel Sampere and Wes Craig. Folks say these artists can make every fight and scene jump off the page.
Here’s another thing ya gotta know: this ain’t the last time we’re gonna see this kinda thing. Oh no! This DC All In series is just gettin’ started, and if I understand right, this first one, the DC All In Special #1, is just the kick-off. They got a whole lineup of stories planned, which means lots more of this battle with Darkseid and his forces.
Now, if you’re wonderin’ about grabbin’ a copy, they say it’s up for preorder again since the first run’s all gone. And it’s a big thing for collectors, see, ‘cause folks like havin’ that first print. But don’t fret, you can still nab the second print when it’s ready. And don’t forget, this one’s got a cover date of December 2024, even though it came out in early October. Guess that’s how these comic folks do it, I dunno.
So there ya have it, this DC All In Special is kickin’ off somethin’ big, and I’d say it’s worth a look if ya like superhero tussles. They’re all gathered up, battlin’ the big baddie Darkseid, and folks are mighty excited ‘bout what’s comin’ next. So, you comic folks better hold on tight ‘cause looks like DC’s got a lot more in store with DC All In!
