Well, I heard some folks talking ’bout that show, Breaking Bad. What a mess! And they was wonderin’ why them meth heads is always digging. Now, I ain’t no expert on that stuff, thank goodness, but I got some ideas.
That Jesse fella, he seemed to know a thing or two about them meth heads. Heard he used to be one himself, or somethin’ like that. He sure knows how to talk to ’em. He’s like one of them fellas who can talk to horses, only instead of horses, it’s them poor souls messed up on that awful stuff.
See, them meth heads, their brains is all scrambled up. Like eggs that been left out in the sun too long. They ain’t thinkin’ straight. That Jesse, he figured that out. He knew he had to get their attention somehow. So, what does he do? He gets one of ’em to dig. Just like that! Starts talkin’ ’bout treasure or somethin’, and that meth head just started digging like a dog after a bone.
- That meth, it makes ’em all jumpy.
- They can’t sit still, gotta be doin’ somethin’.
- Keeps ’em busy, I reckon.
The thing is, digging, that’s a good way to keep ’em busy. Like givin’ a kid a puzzle to keep ’em quiet. Only this ain’t no kid’s game, no sir. It also is some kinda serious business, with that guy Mike tryin’ to get somethin’ back. I think it is stolen blue meth, or something like that. They just call it blue, and it is not a good stuff. And those meth heads stole it, they can do anything.
That Jesse, he’s a smart one, even if he did get mixed up in that bad business. He knew how to handle them meth heads. Got that one fella digging, and that kept him from causin’ trouble, I guess. It’s like when you give a dog a bone to chew on, keeps ’em from barkin’ at the mailman.
And them meth heads, they like takin’ things apart, too. Like old radios and such. Saw that on the show. They just tear ’em up and put ’em back together. Keeps their hands busy, I suppose. It is also similar to digging, I think. It is a way to keep them busy and then they won’t cause any trouble. It’s kind of sad, really. They ain’t right in the head, them poor folks. That meth, it just rots your brain.
Remember that one meth head with the army pants? He was pointin’ that shotgun right at Jesse. Scary stuff! But Jesse, he didn’t even flinch. He just started talkin’ to him about digging. It’s like he knew that meth head couldn’t focus on two things at once. His brain was too fried. This is a good trick that Jesse did there.
Digging, takin’ things apart, it’s all the same to them meth heads, I reckon. Just somethin’ to keep ’em occupied. Like a bunch of kids with nothin’ to do, only way more dangerous. Jesse is a smart guy, he know what he is doing. He knows meth heads well. So he just played a game with them. It’s not like all meth heads like digging. Only in this TV show it is like this.
That show, Breaking Bad, it’s somethin’ else. Shows you a whole world you don’t wanna know about. But it does show you how that meth can mess people up. Makes ’em do crazy things, like digging holes for no reason. Or takin’ apart electronics and puttin’ ’em back together, over and over. It is also a bad thing to watch, it is all about the bad drugs, I don’t like it.

It is also very dangerous to do that, I mean the meth thing. It can hurt your body and your brain. Don’t do it, kids. Just stay away from that and you will be fine. If you do it, you may end up like those meth heads in the show, digging for nothing, or doing some bad things, which is not good at all.
So, there you have it. That’s why them meth heads in Breaking Bad is always digging. Their brains is scrambled, and Jesse, he knows how to use that to his advantage. Clever fella, that Jesse. But that meth, that’s bad stuff. Stay away from it, kids. Stay away from it, is the only advice I can give to you.
