Alright, so let’s talk about this Blue Bloods show, that episode 19 from season 7. You know, the one where Erin, that lawyer girl, gets into a whole heap of trouble with her ex-husband.

First off, you got Erin, right? She’s trying to put some bad guy behind bars, a real nasty killer. But wouldn’t ya know it, her ex-husband, that lawyer fella, he decides to defend the killer. Can you believe that? It’s like, what in tarnation are you thinkin’, mister? Makes for a real mess, I tell ya.
So, the whole episode is about them two battlin’ it out in court. It’s like a cockfight, but with words and them fancy law books. You can just feel the tension, you know? Like when you’re milkin’ a cow and she’s about to kick you. That kind of tension. Erin, she’s tough, she don’t back down. But her ex, he’s no slouch either. It’s a real nail-biter, seein’ who’s gonna win.
And then there’s this other thing going on. Some mama, she’s all riled up ‘cause the police ain’t found her kid’s killer. She’s pointin’ fingers at the NYPD, sayin’ they ain’t doin’ their job. Now, I ain’t saying the police are perfect, nobody is, but they got a tough job, gotta deal with all sorts of craziness. This mama, though, she’s heartbroken, you can see it. It’s tough, losing a child like that, real tough.
- The show makes you think, you know?
- About family, ‘cause the Reagans, they stick together no matter what.
- About justice, ‘cause sometimes it ain’t so clear-cut.
- And about forgiveness, ‘cause holdin’ onto anger just eats you up inside.
This whole season 7, they had some other stuff goin’ on too. Like that lady cop, Baker, I think her name is. She’s pregnant or somethin’, has a kid or two. And that Frank Reagan, the big boss man, he’s got himself a girlfriend now and then. Margaret, I think her name is. It’s nice to see him happy, even if it’s just for a little while.
But you know, the thing that really got me was when Linda died. That happened later on, in season 8. They didn’t even show it, just said she was in a helicopter crash. Danny, her husband, he was just heartbroken. It was a real tearjerker, that’s for sure. Made me think about my own family, and how important it is to cherish the time you have together. ‘Cause you never know when somethin’ bad might happen.
This whole Blue Bloods show, it’s about family, law, and all the messiness in between. It’s got its ups and downs, just like life, ya know? And this episode 19, well, it’s a good example of that. It ain’t always pretty, and it ain’t always easy, but in the end, family finds a way to stick together.

And now, they’re even sayin’ the show is ending after 14 seasons! Can ya believe it? That’s a long time to be tellin’ stories about one family. Guess everything comes to an end eventually. But I bet folks will be watchin’ this show for years to come, even after it’s gone.
So, yeah, that’s my take on Blue Bloods season 7 episode 19. It’s a good one, makes you think, makes you feel. And that’s what a good story should do, right?
