Alright, guys, so I had this crazy idea the other day to watch some really scary movies while I was, you know, high. I thought, “Why not amp up the thrill?” So I did a little digging to find out what the best picks were. I mean, there’s a ton of horror stuff out there – slashers, ghosts, monsters, and those mind-bending psychological ones.

I stumbled upon some people saying that “The Exorcist” from 1973 is like, the ultimate scare-fest. They were all like, “This is the scariest movie ever!” So, naturally, I was intrigued. And then there was this one called “Sinister” that some study claimed was the scariest of all time, with a “scare score” of 96. I was like, “What the heck is a scare score?” But it sounded intense, so I added it to the list.
Planning the Movie Marathon
First things first, I had to set the mood. I got my place all comfy – you know, dimmed the lights, got some snacks ready (munchies, anyone?), and made sure I had everything within reach. I didn’t want to be scrambling for stuff in the dark while some demon was popping up on screen.
Watching “The Exorcist”
I decided to kick things off with “The Exorcist.” I mean, with all the hype, I had to see what it was all about. Let me tell you, it was a trip. The whole possession thing, the creepy voice, the spinning head – it was wild. Being high definitely made it more intense. I found myself analyzing every little detail, like, way more than I usually would. Every shadow seemed to move, and every creak in my apartment had me jumping.
Diving into “Sinister”
Next up was “Sinister.” This one was a slow burn, but man, did it get under my skin. The whole mystery of the old home movies, that creepy music, and the eerie figure in the background – it was seriously disturbing. I remember pausing it a few times just to calm my nerves. I kept thinking I saw things out of the corner of my eye. It was like the movie was messing with my head, and being high just made it that much more effective.
Exploring Other Classics
- “The Shining”: I also watched a bit of “The Shining.” Man, those hallways in the Overlook Hotel were something else. The whole vibe of the place, the isolation, and Jack Nicholson’s descent into madness – it was a total mind-bender. I felt like I was trapped in the hotel with them, and the weird, unsettling feeling lingered even after I turned it off.
The Aftermath
After the movies, I was pretty much a wreck, in the best way possible. I spent the rest of the night just chilling, trying to process everything I’d seen. I had some crazy thoughts, some deep reflections, and a whole lot of paranoia. It was definitely an experience I won’t forget.
So, that’s my story of watching scary movies while high. It was intense, it was freaky, and it was a whole lot of fun. Would I do it again? Probably. Would I recommend it? If you’re into that kind of thrill, definitely. Just make sure you’re in a safe, comfy spot, and maybe have a friend around – unless you want to face the demons alone!
