Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them movies, you know, the ones like that Ella Enchanted flick. Yeah, that one with the girl and the spells and all that fancy stuff.
Now, I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, but I know what I like. And if you liked that Ella Enchanted, then you probably like them other movies that are kinda like it. You know, the ones with the magic and the princesses and the happy endings. They ain’t always the smartest movies, but they sure are fun to watch when you’re sittin’ around with nothin’ better to do.

There’s a bunch of them, old ones, new ones, cartoon ones… They all got that girl who’s treated bad and then gets to go to the ball and dance with the prince. You know the story. It’s always the same, but we still watch it, don’t we? It’s like comfort food, but for your eyes.
- Then there’s the Enchanted movie. That one’s a little different. It’s got a princess who gets stuck in the real world, which is kinda funny, you know? Seein’ a princess try to figure out how to ride the subway and pay for things with money. It ain’t all princes and castles, that’s for sure.
And there’s other movies too, not just those two. Some are on that thing called Netflix, some on that iTunes, and some on, what was it…Amazon? And then there’s the one with the mouse ears… Disney-somethin’ or other. They got all sorts of movies like that Ella Enchanted. If you liked one, you’ll probably like the others. It’s all the same kinda stuff, just with different actors and different dresses. But they all got that magic and that happy ending. That’s what we want, ain’t it? Something to make us feel good for a couple of hours.
I even heard tell of folks lookin’ for movies just by who’s in ’em, like them directors and them actors and actresses. Must be nice to be famous like that, havin’ folks lookin’ for your movies all the time. They got lists and lists of ’em, I reckon. More movies than I could ever watch in a lifetime, that’s for sure.
And some folks, they get all mixed up. They see one movie and think it’s another. Like that girl, she was lookin’ for a movie for four years! Four years! And she thought it was that Ella Enchanted, but it wasn’t. See? They all kinda blend together after a while. But that’s okay, I reckon. As long as they got that magic and that happy ending, it don’t really matter which one you’re watchin’.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch and you liked that Ella Enchanted movie, don’t you worry. There’s plenty more where that came from. Just go on that internet thingy or ask your grandkids, they know all about this stuff. They’ll find you a movie faster than you can say “happily ever after.” And that’s all that matters in the end, ain’t it? A little bit of magic, a little bit of romance, and a whole lotta happy.
