Okay, so you wanna know about them Korean voice actors, huh? Let me tell ya, it ain’t like back in my day when we just had that one fella on the radio doin’ all the voices. These Korean folks, they got a whole bunch of ’em, and some are real good, I tell ya.

Now, I heard tell of some fellas… Yeo Jin Goo, that’s one name they throw around. Seems like he’s a popular one, though I ain’t never seen him myself. Then there’s Kang Ha Neul. They say he’s one of the big shots over there in Korea. Don’t know what he does, exactly, but folks seem to like him.
These Korean voice actors, they’re kinda famous, you know? Like movie stars, but you don’t see their faces. Just hear their voices. It’s kinda strange when you think about it. But they’re good at what they do, I guess. Real talented, that’s what they say.
- One fella, Lee Dong-wook, they say he’s 42. That’s gettin’ up there, ain’t it? Still makin’ those voices, though. Guess he’s got a good voice for it.
- Then there are the “best of the best,” like they say. Um Sang-hyun, Nam Doh-hyeong, and Lee Yong-shin. Big names, those ones.
Um Sang-hyun, he did voices for that “Ben 10” show, but the Korean version, you know? And Nam Doh-hyeong, he was those robot voices in that “Transformers” cartoon. Raf and Knock Out, that’s who he did. Lee Yong-shin, she did voices for “Naruto” and even that “Halo 6” game. All in Korean, of course. I ain’t never seen none of that stuff myself, but the young’uns, they seem to like it.
Now, some folks argue about who the best voice actor of all time is. They talk about this fella Mel Blanc, say he’s a legend. And then there’s Frank Welker, June Foray, and Jim Cummings. These ain’t Korean, mind you, but they’re supposed to be the real deal when it comes to makin’ voices. They can do all sorts of sounds, real versatile they are. But see, I reckon it’s all a matter of taste, ain’t it? Like some folks like apples, some like oranges. Same with voices, I guess.
But back to them Korean actors. It’s a whole different world over there, you know? They got their own shows, their own movies, their own way of doin’ things. And these voice actors, they’re a big part of it. They bring those characters to life, make you believe they’re real. It’s kinda like magic, if you think about it. Just a voice, and it can make you laugh, make you cry, make you feel all sorts of things. That’s talent, I tell ya.
So, there you have it. A little bit about them Korean voice actors. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I know what I hear. And from what I hear, these folks are pretty darn good at what they do. They work hard, they got talent, and they bring a lot of joy to folks, even if you don’t understand a word they’re sayin’. It’s all about the emotion, the feeling, and that’s somethin’ everybody can understand, no matter where you come from.

And you know, it ain’t just about makin’ funny voices or scary voices neither. It’s about tellin’ a story, makin’ you care about them characters. That’s what a good voice actor can do. They ain’t just talkin’, they’re actin’ with their voice.
I reckon that’s about all I got to say on this here topic. Korean voice actors… they’re somethin’ else, that’s for sure.
