Okay, so I’ve been on this huge The Killers kick lately, right? But, you know, sometimes you just gotta branch out. So I started thinking, “What other bands give me that same kind of vibe?” And that’s where my little musical adventure began.

First, I just straight-up typed “bands similar to The Killers” into the search bar. I mean, why not start with the obvious, yeah?
My Discovery Process
I scrolled through a bunch of lists, and a few names kept popping up. I jotted them down on a scrap of paper – gotta keep track of these things, you know?
- Brandon Flowers’ Solo Stuff: Makes sense, he’s the lead singer!
- The Strokes: I’ve heard of them, but never really listened.
- Arcade Fire: Another one I’ve vaguely heard of.
- Interpol: I like it.
- Franz Ferdinand:I like it.
Then, I dove into each one. I picked a few of their top songs on a music streaming service, hit play, and just… listened. Some I immediately liked, others I wasn’t so sure about. It was all about that gut feeling, you know?
I also find something similar to them,I listened these bands.
- Coldplay.
- U2.
- Muse.
It was totally a trial-and-error kind of thing. I’d listen to a few songs, skip some, replay others. Slowly but surely, I started to build up a playlist of bands that, while not exactly like The Killers, definitely had that same energy, that same kind of… feeling. It’s hard to explain, but you know it when you hear it!
So yeah, that’s how I went about finding some new (to me, at least) music. It wasn’t some super scientific process, just a bit of searching, a lot of listening, and trusting my own ears. And now I’ve got a bunch of new bands to add to my rotation!
