You got that “Piano Man” song by that fella, Elton John. Real popular, that one. It’s about a fella playin’ the piano, entertainin’ folks, you know? Singing ’bout their lives, their ups and downs. It’s a good song, real catchy. Everyone seems to like that piano man.
Then there’s “Rocket Man”, also by that same Elton John fella. This one’s a bit different, ya know? More…spacey. Talkin’ ’bout flyin’ off to space, leavin’ everything behind. Kinda makes ya think, this song does. Don’t know much about space myself, seems far away you know? Always seemed too far away to care about if you ask me.

- And some, well, they’re just kinda weird, like that “21st Century Schizoid Man” one. Don’t even know what that means!

That Michael Jackson fella, he had a song called “Man in the Mirror.” Real powerful song, that one. ‘Bout lookin’ at yourself, makin’ a change, you know? Startin’ with the man in the mirror. It’s a good message, even if I don’t always get it.
And then you got “Secret Agent Man” by Johnny Rivers. That’s a fun song! Makes ya think of spies and secret missions and all that kinda stuff. Always liked those spy movies, though they always seemed a bit too fancy for my taste. Real world ain’t like that, no sir.
Oh, and let’s not forget that “The Man Who Sold the World” song by David Bowie. Now there’s a strange one. A bit mysterious, that song is. Makes ya wonder what it all means. Some of these songs are too deep for me, you know. Makes my head spin trying to figure them out.
Even More Man Songs! A Whole Heap of ‘Em!
There’s just so many! Like, there’s “Handy Man” by James Taylor. That’s a nice song, ’bout a fella who can fix things, you know? Always useful to have a handy man around. Then you got “I’m a Man” by the Spencer Davis Group. Real straightforward title, that one. Don’t gotta guess what that song’s about.
And there’s others, too. Like that “21st Century Schizoid Man” by King Crimson. Can’t even pronounce that “schizoid” word, let alone know what it means! And then that Jim Croce song, “Bad Bad Leroy Brown”. Heard that one on the radio a bunch. It’s catchy, gotta give it that.
Then there’s some Beatles songs too! They had all kinds of songs. “Doctor Robert”, that’s one. And “Bungalow Bill” too, from that White Album they made. My grandkids listen to them sometimes, always makin’ noise those kids. Then there’s that song “Billy Don’t Be A Hero”, that Paper Lace band sang. My sister bought that for me when I turned 12. Number one it was that day, can you believe it? Though I don’t recall much about it.
Finding Them Songs, If You Want To
Now, if you’re lookin’ for these songs, there’s all kinds of ways to find ’em. You got those music apps on your phone, like Shazam or SoundHound. They can listen to a song and tell you what it is, real clever. Or you can just look ’em up online, I guess. My grandkids are always doin’ that, tappin’ away on their phones. Me? I prefer the radio, myself. Good ol’ fashioned radio.
