You wanna know which character you are from that Flash thing? Well, I watched it, that TV show, you know. That fast guy, runnin’ all over the place. Lots of folks in that show, runnin’ around, doin’ things. Hard to keep up sometimes, but I try. I got some ideas ’bout who’s who. This whole The Flash character thing is a big deal, I guess.
First, there’s that Barry Allen fella. He’s the main guy, the one they call The Flash. He got hit by somethin’, I don’t know, lightnin’ or somethin’. Now he runs real fast. Faster than anyone. He’s a good boy, that Barry. Always tryin’ to help folks. He’s kinda like my grandson, always runnin’ errands, always in a hurry. If you’re all about helpin’ people, and you’re always on the go, maybe you’re like that Barry Allen, The Flash guy. He is a good egg.
Then there’s that girl, Iris West. She’s sweet on Barry, that’s for sure. They been friends a long time, since they were knee-high to a grasshopper. She’s a reporter, always chasin’ a story. Nosy, just like my neighbor, Mildred. Always gotta know everyone’s business. But she’s got a good heart, that Iris. She cares about people, just like Barry. If you’re always stickin’ your nose in things, but you mean well, maybe you’re like that Iris West. She works for that Picture News, I think. She’s always got her nose in a newspaper, that one.
- That Barry, he’s always sayin’ funny things. Jokes, you know. Like my old man used to, bless his soul. Always had a joke for everythin’. They call them “dad jokes,” I think. Young folks these days.
- And that Iris, she’s a tough cookie. Stands up for herself. Reminds me of myself when I was younger. Didn’t take no guff from nobody.
There is also a smart guy, Cisco Ramon, always makin’ gadgets and things. He works with Barry. A real tinkerer, that one. Reminds me of my cousin, Jebediah. Always takin’ apart clocks and puttin’ them back together. Never could get ’em to work right, though. This Cisco, he’s good at what he does. Helps The Flash a lot. So, if you like buildin’ and inventin’ stuff, maybe you are like this Cisco guy. The Flash quiz might say so.
Oh, and there’s another one, Caitlin Snow. She’s a doctor, I think. Smart as a whip. She helps Barry too. She’s a bit quiet, keeps to herself mostly. But she knows her stuff. If you are quiet and smart and like to help people, you might be a Caitlin Snow.
And that Reverse Flash, he’s a bad egg. Always causin’ trouble. He’s fast too, just like Barry. But he uses his speed for bad things. Don’t be like him. If you’re mean and like to hurt people, well, you need to change your ways. Nobody likes a Reverse Flash. He’s the arch enemy of that Barry, always fightin’.

- That Reverse Flash, he’s always sneakin’ around, like a weasel in a henhouse.
- Cisco, he can make anythin’. Like a magician, pullin’ rabbits outta hats.
There’s that Wally West too, another speedster. He is The Flash in some of them comics. He’s a good kid, that Wally. People like him. If you are funny and charming, maybe you are like Wally West. Lots of folks think he’s the most well liked of them all. Even them bad guys like him. He was in that cartoon show, the one with the superheroes, flyin’ around.
They all live in Central City, that’s where all this happens. Big city, lots of hustle and bustle. Not like here, where the biggest news is when Farmer McGregor’s cow gets loose. But they got their own problems in that city. Speedsters runnin’ around, bad guys causin’ trouble. Always somethin’ goin’ on.
So, you see, there are many characters from The Flash. Which one are you? You gotta think about what you’re like. Are you fast like The Flash? Are you smart like Cisco? Are you kind like Iris? It all depends. It is just a TV show, but it is kinda fun to think about. This is the best character from The Flash, well, that is for you to say. I like that Barry, he is a good boy.
This whole The Flash series is a lot. They are good people and bad people, just like in real life. So, yeah, that’s what I think about that Flash show and all them characters. It ain’t real life, but it sure is entertainin’. Just like watchin’ the chickens fight over a worm, I suppose. Keeps you guessin’.
