Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Archie’s photo album thing. I ain’t no fancy photographer or nothin’, but I know a thing or two ’bout lookin’ at pictures. It’s like lookin’ back at time, ya know?
So, this Archie fella, sounds like he’s got a bunch of folks takin’ his picture. He’s a young’un, see? Just turned five, they say. May 6th is his birthday. That’s what I heard tell. Kids grow up so fast these days, faster than weeds in my garden, I swear. One minute they’re in diapers, the next they’re runnin’ ’round like chickens with their heads cut off.
And this Archie, he’s got a mama and a papa, just like everyone else. His papa, Harry, he’s goin’ off to some kinda special event, somethin’ called Invictus Games. Sounds fancy. I ain’t never been to no games, unless you count chasin’ after the chickens when they get loose. That’s a game all right, and a tiring one at that.
- Archie’s Birthday: May 6th. That’s when the little fella turned five.
- Harry’s Trip: The papa’s goin’ off to some big event, Invictus Games they call it.
Now, Archie’s mama, Meghan, she seems like a sweet thing. Always wantin’ to capture them moments, ya know? Like all mamas do. She’s got him doin’ photoshoots, and they’re puttin’ them pictures everywhere, like in them Christmas cards and such. I remember when we used to get them Christmas cards. Now everyone just sends them digital things on them…what do ya call ’em? Smart phones, yeah, that’s it. Too fancy for me, I say.
They even put Archie in some kinda show, on the TV I think. “The Me You Can’t See,” somethin’ like that. I don’t watch much TV myself, too much noise and carryin’ on. I prefer sittin’ on the porch, watchin’ the birds and the squirrels. But this Archie, he’s a star, I guess. Brown eyes and red hair, they say. Sounds like a cute little fella.
And there’s talk of expandin’ somethin’, Archies Brands or somethin’, in a place called UAE. I ain’t never heard of that place, probably far away from here. This world’s gettin’ so big and complicated, I tell ya. Back in my day, things were simpler. You worked hard, you ate your supper, and you went to bed. Now, everyone’s got their fingers in too many pies, if ya ask me.
Anyways, this Archie’s photo album, it ain’t just pictures, it’s memories. It’s seein’ that little fella grow up, from a babe in arms to a little boy runnin’ around. It’s like watchin’ my own grandkids grow, only these folks are famous and such. But kids are kids, no matter who their parents are. They laugh, they cry, they get into mischief. That’s just the way it is.
And that’s all I gotta say ’bout that. Just a bunch of pictures, tellin’ a story. A story ’bout a boy growin’ up, and a family makin’ memories. Nothin’ too fancy, just life, plain and simple. And that’s somethin’ I understand, even if I ain’t no city folk.
They also had another photoshoot, the whole family, even little Lilibet. And they put that picture on their Christmas card too, back in 2021. Seems like they like sharin’ their family moments with everyone. It’s nice, I guess, showin’ off their happiness. We used to do that too, back in the day, showin’ off our family portraits to the neighbors. But it was different then, more personal, ya know?
And they even had this TV special, somethin’ on CBS. Archie made an appearance there too. The parents were talkin’ and then, boom, there’s Archie, grinnin’ at the camera. It’s like they want everyone to see him, to be a part of his life, even if they don’t know him. Like I said, times have changed. We used to keep our kids close, now everyone’s sharin’ everything online. It’s a whole new world, I tell ya.
So, yeah, Archie’s photo album, it’s more than just pictures. It’s a peek into a life, a life that’s different from mine, but still filled with the same joys and challenges that every family faces. And that’s somethin’ that everyone can relate to, no matter where they come from or how fancy their lives are.
