Okay, so I had this idea to make a playlist, and I wanted to keep it super specific. I decided to go with songs that have “white” in the title. Sounds kinda simple, right? But it turned into a bit of a rabbit hole, in a good way!

Brainstorming and Initial Searches
First, I racked my brain. You know, trying to remember any songs off the top of my head. “White Wedding” by Billy Idol? Classic. That was an easy one. “Whiter Shade of Pale”? Yep, another one. But after those, my mind went pretty blank. Time to hit the internet!
Digging Through the Web
I started with some basic searches. Just typing in “songs with white in the title” and seeing what popped up. I got a bunch of lists, some helpful, some not so much. Some of the lists would named song titles that contain related words, I filtered those out.
- I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through these lists, jotting down anything that sounded interesting.
- I found some obvious ones, some I’d completely forgotten about, and a few I’d never even heard of!
Creating the Playlist
Then, I started actually building the playlist on my favorite music streaming service. As I added songs, I tried to keep it somewhat diverse. I didn’t want it to be all one genre, you know? A little rock, a little pop, maybe some older stuff, some newer stuff. This is the key to it all.
The Final Result
I ended up with a pretty cool playlist! It’s longer than I expected, which is awesome. It’s definitely got a vibe, a mix of familiar tunes and some I am looking forward to listen to more.
So, yeah, that’s how I spent part of my day. It was a fun little project, and now I’ve got a unique playlist to show for it! Who knew there were so many songs with “white” in the title?
