Okay, so I wanted to find some movies similar to “Trust,” you know, that 2010 film with Clive Owen and Catherine Keener? It’s a pretty heavy movie about online predators, and I was in the mood for something with that same kind of intense, unsettling vibe. Not necessarily the exact same topic, but that feeling of dread and suspense.
I started by, well, just plain old Googling. I typed in things like “movies like Trust 2010” and “films with similar themes to Trust.”
I went through I don’t know how many lists!. I skimmed a bunch of articles with titles like “Top 10 Movies That Will Make You Paranoid” and “Disturbing Films You Won’t Forget” – you get the idea. Super clickbaity,but hey, it’s a starting point, right?
My Watchlist Based On My Search
Here what I did:
- I looked for recurring titles. If a movie kept popping up on multiple lists, I figured it was probably worth checking out.
- Then I watched some trailers on YouTube. Just to get a feel for the movie’s tone and see if it actually looked interesting.
- Read some reviews,I tried to focus on the plot.
Based on all of that,The movie that caught my attention, I’m gonna add it to my watchlist.
I make my own list and plan on watching them,So, yeah, that’s basically my process. It’s not rocket science, just a lot of clicking around and hoping for the best!
