Okay, so I’ve been on this kick lately of making super specific playlists. You know, not just “chill vibes” but like, “songs that feel like you’re driving alone at 3 AM.” It’s fun! So, today’s mission was to collect “songs with midnight in the title.”
First, I opened up my Spotify. Gotta start somewhere, right? I figured just typing “midnight” into the search bar would be way too broad. I’d get everything, and I didn’t want that. I needed to get a little creative.
So, I started thinking about artists I know who have that late-night, moody kind of sound. Then It is time to use my brain haha. I typed in a few song titles I thought might fit, just to see what came up. That gave me a few starting points, which was good.
Then, I went down a rabbit hole. I clicked on “related artists” and “song radios” on Spotify. That’s where the real digging happened. I found a few that way that I’d never heard before, which was awesome. Sometimes I will get more excited for this.
- I also checked out some online playlist sites. Just googled stuff like “best songs about midnight.” That turned up some curated lists, some good, some…not so good. Haha.
- I even asked a few friends. One of them is a total music nerd, and she had a couple of suggestions I’d never have thought of.
After, like, a solid hour of searching and listening, I had a pretty good list going. It is full of my type songs now.

It was a fun little project. It’s cool how many songs are actually out there with “midnight” in the title when you start really looking. The final playlist? Chef’s kiss. Perfect for those late-night, introspective moods. I highly recommend trying something like * a random word and go see what musical treasures you uncover!
