Okay, so, I’ve been diving into this new Netflix series called “Eric,” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. Today, I want to share my experience with the second episode.

I started off this morning by grabbing a cup of coffee and settling in on the couch. I was already hooked from the first episode, so I was eager to see what happened next. The episode kicked off, and right away, I was pulled back into the dark, gritty world of 1980s New York.
The story follows this guy, Vincent, who’s a puppeteer on a kids’ show. But his life is messed up. His son, Edgar, has gone missing, and he’s convinced that if he can just bring his son’s drawing of a monster named Eric to life on his show, Edgar will come home. It sounds crazy, right? But I got so invested in his desperation. I really understand his feeling, it is just like losing my favorite toy car back to my childhood.
So, I watched as Vincent struggled to get Eric on the show. He’s battling his own demons, dealing with his strained marriage, and trying to keep it together. Meanwhile, there’s this detective, Ledroit, who’s trying to solve Edgar’s disappearance. He’s a tough character, and in this episode, he actually makes an arrest. I won’t spoil who it is, but it definitely threw me for a loop.
The mystery deepens
- There were so many twists and turns. Just when I thought I had a handle on things, something new would happen. I spent most of the episode trying to figure out who could be involved in Edgar’s disappearance.
- The show does a great job of introducing potential suspects. Each character seems to have their own secrets, and I kept changing my mind about who the bad guy might be. And there are so many things related to the politics, which made me so dazzling.
- I also noticed how the show tackles some heavy themes. It’s not just about a missing kid; it touches on issues like mental health, broken families, and the dark side of a big city. I found myself thinking about these things long after the episode ended.
By the time the episode finished, I was left with so many questions. What really happened to Edgar? Is Vincent going to be okay? What’s the deal with this Eric monster? The ending was such a cliffhanger, and I was immediately itching to watch the next episode. But I also wanted to write my blog and share my current thought to you, guys.
Overall, this second episode of “Eric” really kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s a dark and intense show, but it’s also super engaging. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next. If you’re into crime dramas with a bit of a twist, you should definitely check it out. But be warned, it’s not exactly a lighthearted watch. Anyway, you know I love these kinds of dramas!
