This here’s about them actors, Howard and Swanson. You seen ’em on the picture shows, I reckon. They’re in them crossword puzzles a lot, too. My neighbor, she’s always doing them puzzles. Says it keeps her mind sharp.
Anyways, these Howards and Swansons, they’re all over them moving pictures. Seems like there’s a whole heap of ’em. You got your Ron Howard, that red-headed fella. He was on that Happy Days show, used to watch that one all the time. And that other Howard, the one they call Curly. He’s a funny one, that Curly.
Lots of Actors, I Tell Ya
Then there’s that Swanson woman, Gloria Swanson. She was a big star way back when, in them silent pictures. My mama used to talk about her. Said she was a real looker. Don’t see many like her no more. Then you got that Kristy Swanson, she was in that Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. My grandkids, they watched that one.
It’s a wonder how many of these actors there are. They must have big families, all these Howards and Swansons running around. It’s like them rabbits out back, always having babies. These actors, they just keep popping up, like weeds in the garden. You think you seen ’em all, then another one comes along.
More Howards Than You Can Shake a Stick At
- That Ron Howard, he makes them movies now. Big shot, I guess.
- Then there’s that other one, what’s his name… Clint! That’s it, Clint Howard. He’s Ron’s brother, I think. He’s been in a bunch of things, too.
- There was another one, Moe Howard. He was one of them Three Stooges fellas. Slapstick comedy, they called it. Funny stuff.
And don’t even get me started on the Swansons. There’s more of them than you can shake a stick at. There’s that lady who played a vampire, you know the one. And then there’s another one, she was in that show, Parks and Recreation. I think her name was Leslie, or something like that.
Swansons, Swansons, Everywhere!
That Swanson girl, the one from Parks and Rec, she’s funny. They say she writes some of them shows, too. Smart cookie, that one. But she ain’t no Gloria Swanson, that’s for sure. They just don’t make ’em like that no more.
These actors, Howard and Swanson, they sure do keep busy. Always in some new picture or another. It’s hard to keep up with ’em all. They’re like them busy bees in the hive, always buzzing around, making honey, or in this case, making movies.
They’re Famous, I Guess
I guess they make a good living, these actors. Better than working out in the fields, that’s for sure. My back still aches from all them years of picking cotton. These young folks today, they don’t know how good they got it. Sitting around, watching them picture shows, while folks like Howard and Swanson do all the work.
I hear tell there are others, too, these Howards and Swansons. Some of them are just starting out, I reckon. Fresh-faced and ready to make their mark. It’s a tough business, they say. Lots of competition. But I guess if you got the talent, and a little bit of luck, you can make it big.
It’s a Crazy World
It’s a crazy world, ain’t it? All these people, pretending to be someone else. And we just sit there and watch ’em, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. I guess it’s a good way to pass the time. Better than watching paint dry, as they say.
These actors, Howard and Swanson, they’re a part of it all. They’re in our homes, on our screens, in them crossword puzzles. They’re like family, almost. Even though we never met ’em. It’s a strange thing, ain’t it?
Well, I reckon that’s enough about them Howards and Swansons. My bones are getting tired, and I need to rest my eyes. But if you see ’em on the picture show, you tell ’em I said hello. They probably won’t know who I am, but it’s the thought that counts, right? You never know when they’re gonna appear in them crossword puzzles, neither. Maybe I should tell my neighbor to watch for them, she loves them things.
You know them old actors, they really get around, in a manner of speaking. Some of them, they win them awards, like that fella who plays Sherlock Holmes, he’s been in a whole bunch of things. And that other one, the one with the three awards. Big names, those ones. It is like my old man used to say, “Them actors is like weeds, they just keep poppin’ up everywhere!”
These actors are everywhere, I tell ya. It is like what they say about Christmas, it comes but once a year, but these actors, they’re always there. You know, it is something to think about, all these folks on the big screen, pretending to be other people. It is a strange world, this world of actors and movies. But like I said, it’s better than watching paint dry, and it sure beats working out in the fields.
