Hey there, y’all! Let’s yak about somethin’ called “black host game show”. Don’t rightly know what them fancy folks call it, but it’s like them shows on the TV where folks play games and win stuff. Yeah, that’s it!

Now, I ain’t got no fancy cable or nothin’, but I hear tell you can watch these game shows on all sorts of things. My niece, she’s got that Frndly TV thing, and that YouTube TV, and she says they got them shows. She also talks about somethin’ called Philo, fuboTV, Sling TV, and Plex. Sounds like a whole lotta gibberish to me, but she says it’s how you watch them shows on that there internet thingy.
Folks seem to like them game shows a whole heap. I hear tell the most popular ones are “Family Feud”, “Jeopardy” and that “Wheel of Fortune”. Don’t rightly know why, but folks get all riled up watchin’ them. Guess it’s fun seein’ other folks win stuff, or maybe it’s just somethin’ to do when you’re sittin’ around after supper.
So, what is this “black host game show” thing anyways? Well, it’s like I said, it’s a show where folks play games. There’s always some fella, or sometimes a gal, who’s the boss of the show, the host they call ’em. And this here “black host” part just means the boss of the show is a black fella. Simple as that!
- They ask questions,
- make folks do silly things,
- and give away prizes.
My grandbaby told me about a show called “Black Ghost”. Said it ain’t really a game show, more like one of them “crime/thriller” things. But it’s on that fuboTV, so maybe they got game shows too. This “Black Ghost” show is about some fella in Australia, used to be a soldier I reckon. Sounds kinda scary to me.
Now, if you wanna watch these shows for free, seems like there’s ways to do that too. My neighbor’s boy says there’s somethin’ called Tubi. He says you can watch all sorts of movies and TV shows on it, even some black cinema stuff. Don’t know what that is exactly, but he says it’s good. And they got popular stuff too, just regular TV shows and movies, he says you can watch ’em on your phone or whatever.
Seems like you can find these shows all over the place online too. My niece, the one with all them fancy TV things, she says you can watch full episodes and clips and whatnot on the internet, just free for the takin’. She even said somethin’ about HBO lettin’ you watch some shows for free durin’ that “Black History Month”, whatever that is.

And then there’s shows like “The Blacklist”. My nephew watches that one. He’s always talkin’ about it. Said it’s comin’ back for another season. He’s gotta watch it live, he says. I don’t get it, but he seems to like it a whole bunch. And there’s this other show, “Black-ish”. You can watch that one on the ABC website, or on somethin’ called Disney+, Amazon, Hulu, or Vudu. So many places to watch stuff, it makes my head spin!
So, if you’re lookin’ for a “black host game show”, or any kind of game show for that matter, seems like you got plenty of choices. You can watch ’em on all them fancy TV services, or you can watch ’em online for free. Just gotta figure out what you like and where to find it. Me, I’d rather just sit on the porch and watch the chickens, but to each their own, I reckon. Platforms for black cinema, they call them, all these fancy places, but it’s just TV to me.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about them game shows and where to find ‘em. Hope it helps y’all out some. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them biscuits in the oven.
