Well, howdy there! You wanna know about them TV shows that start with a “S”, huh? Alright, gather ’round, and I’ll tell ya what I know. Ain’t no fancy talk here, just plain speakin’.
First off, there’s this show called “SEAL Team”. My grandson, he loves this one. It’s about them Navy fellas, you know, the tough guys who jump outta planes and do all sorts of dangerous stuff. They train real hard and go on missions, shootin’ and whatnot. It’s got a lot of action, that’s for sure. Explosions and fightin’ and all that. Keeps ya on the edge of your seat, I tell ya.
Then there’s… oh, what’s it called? There’s so many these days! My memory ain’t what it used to be, you know. Let me think… Ah, yes! Some folks like them shows that change society, they say. Make people think different, I guess. I don’t watch much of that stuff myself. Too much talkin’ and not enough shootin’, if you ask me. But my daughter, she likes them. She says they’re “thought-provoking.” Whatever that means.
- But if you want my real opinion, nothin’ beats a good old crime show. You know, the ones with detectives and mysteries.
- They catch bad guys and solve crimes.
- Makes ya feel safe, knowin’ someone’s out there keepin’ the peace.
Now, they got this thing called the internet, right? My grandson showed me. You can find all sorts of shows on there. He says there’s a place where they rate shows, tell ya if they’re good or not. They call it “Metacritic” or somethin’ like that. Sounds fancy, huh? But I just watch what looks interestin’. Don’t need no fancy website to tell me what to watch.
And talk about a lot of shows! My goodness, there’s more shows now than fleas on a hound dog! My grandson says 2023 was full of ‘em. New ones, old ones, endin’ ones. It’s hard to keep up, I tell ya. He’s always tellin’ me about this show and that show. He says some are “binge-worthy.” Means you can watch ‘em all day long, I guess. I ain’t got time for that. Got chores to do, chickens to feed.
Some folks like them shows that are good from start to finish, my daughter tells me. She found some list on the internet where people voted on their favorites. BuzzFeed, I think she called it. Lots of shows on there I never even heard of. But that’s the young folks for ya, always lookin’ for somethin’ new.
There’s also some voting thing going on about the top 100 TV shows of all time. Can you believe that? A hundred shows! Who’s got time to watch a hundred shows? I barely got time to watch one or two a week. But they got folks votin’ and arguin’ about which ones are the best. It’s like arguin’ about which pie is better, apple or cherry. Everyone’s got their own opinion, ya know?
So, if you’re lookin’ for a show that starts with “S,” well, you got plenty to choose from. “SEAL Team” is a good one if you like action. And there’s plenty of others out there, I’m sure. Just gotta poke around and see what catches your eye. Don’t listen to them fancy folks with their websites and ratings. Watch what you like, that’s what I say. And if you don’t like it, turn it off! Life’s too short to watch bad TV.
