Alright, so listen up, y’all. Gonna tell ya ’bout these Jonas fellas, the Jonas Brothers, they call ’em. Heard they’re comin’ to Raleigh. Raleigh, North Carolina, that is. Big city, they say. Don’t know much about big cities myself, but I hear tell it’s a nice place.

Anyways, these Jonas boys, they singin’ and dancin’ and such. Gonna be at some place called PNC Arena. Sounds fancy, huh? PNC Arena. Probably got bright lights and loud music. Not my cup of tea, usually, but folks seem to like it. They’re playin’ on September 28th. That’s what I heard, anyways. September 28th. Mark your calendars, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Now, I ain’t never been to one of their shows, but I seen them fellas on the TV once. Young whippersnappers, all of ’em. Got them fancy haircuts and shiny clothes. Singin’ ’bout love and heartbreak and all that jazz. Kids these days, they love it. My grandkids, they keep talkin’ ’bout ’em. “Grandma, Grandma, we gotta go see the Jonas Brothers!” they keep sayin’. Well, bless their hearts.
So, if you wanna go see ’em, you gotta get tickets. That’s how it works, see? You pay some money, and they let you in. Heard tell they ain’t cheap, these tickets. But folks are payin’ up, seems like. They got this tour goin’ on, a big one, they say. Thirty-five places they’re goin’, and Raleigh’s one of ’em. Lucky us, I guess.
And they ain’t the only ones playin’, no sir. Heard there’s some other band, called Lawrence. Brothers and sisters, they are. Openin’ for the Jonas fellas. Guess they’re pretty good too. More music for your money, that’s what I say. It’s like gettin’ two shows for the price of one, sorta.
Now, these concerts, they ain’t short little things. Heard they go on for a good long while. Two hours, maybe even two and a half. That’s a lot of singin’ and dancin’, if you ask me. Gotta wear your comfy shoes, that’s for sure. And they got encores too, these fellas. That’s when they come back out after they’re done and play some more. Folks love that encore business. Clappin’ and cheerin’ and all that.
- So, to recap, here’s what I know:
- Jonas Brothers in Raleigh
- PNC Arena
- September 28th
- Tickets on sale
- Lawrence is opening act
- Concert lasts 2-2.5 hours
Heard a funny story ’bout one of them Jonas boys, Nick, I think his name is. Runnin’ off the stage in some place called Prague. Turns out, some fella was shinin’ a laser pointer at him. Can you believe that? Shinin’ a laser pointer! Some folks just ain’t got no manners, I tell ya.

Anyway, if you’re lookin’ for a night out and you like that kinda music, you might wanna check out these Jonas Brothers. They seem to be a big deal, these fellas. And Raleigh’s a big city, so it should be a good time. Just remember to bring your earplugs, ’cause I hear tell it gets loud. And wear them comfy shoes, ’cause you’ll be standin’ for a long while. And if you see a fella shinin’ a laser pointer, you tell him to stop it, you hear? Ain’t nobody got time for that nonsense.
And if you want to remember the night, I heard folks are takin’ pictures. Pictures of the stage and the lights and the Jonas Brothers. So, you can look back and remember the good times. That’s what my grandkids tell me, anyway. They’re always takin’ pictures with their phones. Times sure have changed.
So there you have it. Everything I know about these Jonas fellas and their show in Raleigh. Go on and have a good time, if you decide to go. And if not, well, that’s just fine too. There’s plenty of other things to do in this world, you know. Like sittin’ on the porch with a glass of sweet tea. That’s my kinda entertainment, if you ask me.
