Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this “Nen” thing from that Hunter x Hunter show. My grandkids, they watch it all the time, and I tried to make sense of it. It’s like, everyone’s got this energy inside ’em, right? And you can use it to fight and do all sorts of crazy stuff.
Now, they got this quiz, see? A Nen type quiz, they call it. It’s supposed to tell you what kind of Nen user you’d be. Like, are you a fighter, a trickster, or what? Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but the young’uns, they love it. They say there’s six different types. Six! Can you believe that? Enhancer, Emitter, Transmuter, Conjurer, Manipulator, and the special one, Specialization. Sounds like a whole lotta made-up words to me.
So, this Hunter x Hunter Nen type quiz, it asks you all sorts of questions. Like, what you’d do in a fight? Are you the type to punch someone in the face, or would you rather trick ‘em? Would you make things appear out of thin air? Me? I’d just smack ‘em with my purse! That’s my kinda Nen, I guess. Probably the “Smacker” type, ha!
They say the Enhancer types, they’re the most common. Lots of folks just wanna punch stuff, I reckon. Then you got the Emitters, they shoot out their energy, like a blast. Sounds dangerous to me. The Transmuters, they change their energy into somethin’ else. Like, turn it into fire or ice or somethin’. Magicians, basically.
And the Conjurers? They make stuff appear outta nowhere. Like, poof! A sword! Or maybe a whole darn table, if you need one. Seems handy, I gotta say. Then there’s the Manipulators. They control other people or things. Like puppeteers, you know? Creepy, if you ask me.
- Enhancer: Punchy folks. Lots of ’em around.
- Emitter: Energy blasters. Watch out!
- Transmuter: Like magicians, changin’ their energy.
- Conjurer: Can make stuff appear. Handy!
- Manipulator: Controls things. Kinda spooky.
- Specialization: The rarest of ’em all. Real special, they say.
Now, the Specialization type, that’s the rarest of the bunch. Only a tiny bit of folks got it. They say them folks can do all sorts of crazy stuff that don’t fit in the other categories. Like that Kurapika fella, with his red eyes and chains. Or that creepy cat-ant fella. Real powerful, but real weird.
This quiz, it tries to figure you out. It asks about your personality, your habits, and how you’d use your energy. They say it takes hours of research to make a good quiz. Hours! Folks got too much time on their hands, if you ask me. But the kids, they love it. They take the quiz over and over again, tryin’ to get the Nen type they want.
They even talk about “Ten” and “Zetsu” and “Ren” and “Hatsu.” More made-up words! Ten is like, holdin’ your energy in. Zetsu is hidin’ it. Ren is makin’ it stronger. And Hatsu is usin’ it in your own special way. It’s all just a way to make the show more excitin’, I guess. But hey, if it keeps the young’uns outta trouble, I ain’t complainin’.
So, if you’re into this Hunter x Hunter stuff, go ahead and take the Nen type test. See what kind of fighter you’d be. Maybe you’re a puncher, maybe you’re a trickster, or maybe you’re somethin’ special. Me? I’m just gonna stick to smacking folks with my purse. It’s been workin’ for years, no need to change it now.
