Alright, let’s talk about this Tasuketsu -Fate of the Majority- thing, the one they say is from some manga. I ain’t read no manga, mind you, but I heard things. This ain’t no fancy book learnin’ talk, just plain speakin’, ya hear?

So, this Tasuketsu, it’s like a game, but not the fun kind. More like a scary, life-or-death kinda game. Some fella, they call him the “Emperor,” he’s the one pullin’ the strings. Sounds like a real piece of work, that Emperor. He makes these kids play this game, and the rule is simple: majority dies. Yeah, you heard that right. If most folks say “yes,” then all them “yes” sayers are goners. Same if they say “no.” It’s a twisted thing, makes ya think, who comes up with this stuff?
Now, it all starts with this fella, Saneatsu Narita. He’s just a regular kid, doesn’t even like computers much. But one day, bam! This question pops up on the computer screen, gotta answer yes or no. Then, poof, it’s gone. Next day, things ain’t so normal no more. He and some other kids, they’re stuck in this game. Ten of ’em left, they say. Poor things.
- They gotta answer questions, that’s the whole game.
- But it ain’t easy, ’cause ya gotta guess what everyone else is gonna say.
- And if ya guess wrong, well, that’s it for ya.
This Emperor fella, he’s real smart, real mean. He’s got it all planned out. He sets up these questions, real tricky ones. They make the kids turn on each other, argue and fight. It’s all psychological, they say. Messin’ with their heads. Makes ’em scared, makes ’em desperate. And that’s how the story goes on, all scary and messed up, people dyin’ left and right.
Now, some folks say this is a good story, makes ya think. Makes ya wonder what you’d do in that situation. Would ya be selfish? Would ya try to help others? Would ya just try to survive, no matter the cost? It ain’t easy questions, let me tell ya. It’s life and death we’re talkin’ about here. And the way they tell it, it ain’t pretty. People gettin’ hurt, gettin’ killed. It ain’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.
I heard some folks watch this on somethin’ called Crunchyroll or HiAnime. Sounds like fancy TV to me. But they say it’s got action, drama, mystery, all that stuff. And it makes ya think, too. Makes ya wonder about people, about how they act when things get tough. This ain’t your grandma’s bedtime story I tell ya what.
They say it started way back in 2013, this story, on some website. And it went on for a while, four parts they say. And now they got this show, or whatever it is. People seem to like it, even though it’s scary and sad. Maybe they like seein’ people struggle, seein’ how they make it through. Or maybe they just like a good scare. Me? I prefer a good cup of tea.

So, this Tasuketsu, it ain’t for everyone. It’s dark, it’s violent, it’s messed up. But it’s got somethin’ to say, I guess. About people, about choices, about life and death. And if you’re into that kinda thing, well, maybe you’ll like it. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if it gives you nightmares. This ain’t no sunshine and rainbows story. It’s real life, or maybe real death, in a way. Makes ya think twice before answering any questions, that’s for sure.
So that’s the gist of it, as best as I can tell ya. Ain’t no fancy words, just plain talk. This Tasuketsu, it’s a game where most folks die, and the Emperor’s the one makin’ the rules. And them poor kids, they just gotta try and survive. That’s all there is to it. Now go on, get outta here, you heard enough from this old woman.
