Well, hello there, everyone! You wanna know what kind of Nen you got, huh? It’s like this, see. This Nen thing, it’s kinda like your spirit, your energy, you know? Like when you get real mad, you feel that fire inside? That’s sorta like it. But it ain’t just anger, it’s everything inside you.
So, they got this thing called a “Nen type quiz,” sounds fancy, right? They say it’s supposed to tell you what kind of Nen user you are. Like, are you strong and tough, or maybe sneaky and quick? They got all sorts of names for it – Enhancer, Transmuter, Conjurer, Specialist… Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but folks seem to care, so here we go.
Now, they say there’s this water thing, “water divination” they call it. Sounds like somethin’ them city folks do when they got too much time on their hands. You put a leaf on some water, put your hands near it, and then focus your… whatever they call it, your “Nen energy.” And the leaf does somethin’ different dependin’ on what type you are. But I ain’t got time for that, got chores to do. Ain’t nobody got time to be lookin’ at leaves floatin’ in water all day.
Enhancers, they’re the strong ones. They make things tougher, hit harder, you know, like good ol’ fashioned brawn. They say it’s the most common type, makes sense, I guess. Most folks ‘round here ain’t nothin’ fancy.
Then you got Transmuters, they can change their Nen, make it like somethin’ else. Like, they say this fella Killua, he’s one of them. Makes his Nen into electricity, zappin’ folks. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me.
Conjurers, they make things outta their Nen. Like, actual things, not just changin’ it. Kinda like magic, but not really. I don’t know, it’s all a bit confusing, if you ask me.
And then there’s the Specialists. They’re real rare, they say. Like, hardly nobody’s one of them. They got special powers, doin’ stuff nobody else can do. Like this fella Kurapika, he can do all sorts of weird things with chains, apparently. Seems a bit showy to me.
- Enhancer: Strong and tough, like a bull.
- Transmuter: Sneaky and changin’, like a weasel.
- Conjurer: Makes things appear outta nowhere, like a magician.
- Specialist: Rare and mysterious, like a ghost.
So, how do you figure out which one you are? Well, this quiz they got, it asks you a bunch of questions. Stuff like, what would you do if you saw a fight? Would you jump in, or would you run and get help? Or what kind of job would you want? Would you be a farmer, a soldier, or a… whatever them city folks do?
Now, I ain’t sayin’ this quiz is perfect, mind you. It’s just a guess, really. But it might give you an idea. And honestly, most folks I know, they’re probably just Enhancers. We’re all just tryin’ to get by, work hard, and take care of our families. Ain’t got time for no fancy Nen tricks.
So go on, take the quiz if you want. But don’t get too caught up in it. At the end of the day, it’s what you do with your “Nen,” or whatever you wanna call it, that matters. Be good, be kind, and help folks out. That’s what I say. And don’t forget to finish your chores before dark!
This whole Nen thing, it reminds me of my old rooster, Big Red. He was strong and tough, definitely an Enhancer if you ask me. Always struttin’ around, protectin’ his hens. Then there was that sneaky fox that kept tryin’ to steal our chickens. He was a Transmuter for sure, always changin’ his tactics, tryin’ to outsmart us. And my grandma, she could make the best darn apple pie you ever tasted, outta nothin’ but a few apples and some flour. She must’ve been a Conjurer, bringin’ such deliciousness into the world. And Old Man Fitzwilliam, who lived down the road? He claimed he could talk to animals. Definitely a Specialist, that one.
So you see, even without the quiz, you can kinda figure it out. Just look at how people act, what they’re good at, and you’ll get a sense of their “Nen type,” so to speak.
