And let’s not forget about them old-time characters, the ones been around forever. Like that Mickey Mouse fella. He’s been around longer than I have, I swear! A little mouse, always gettin’ into mischief. Kids love him, and I reckon that’s why he’s still around. He’s just… well, he’s Mickey Mouse! Everybody knows him.

Now, I ain’t seen every TV show ever made, that’s for sure. But I’ve seen enough to know a good character when I see one. And the ones I mentioned, well, they’re some of the best. They stick with you, you know? Long after the show is over, you still remember them. And that, I reckon, is the mark of a truly greatest tv characters of all time.
There’s plenty of others, of course. Folks from all sorts of shows, from cop shows to comedies to them fancy sci-fi things. But the ones that stick with you, the ones that make you laugh and cry and think, those are the ones that matter. Those are the compelling TV characters that we keep comin’ back to, time and time again.
