Well, let me tell ya, this Kill la Kill DVD thing, it’s somethin’ else, ya know? Folks are makin’ a big fuss about it, and I figured I’d chime in, even though I ain’t no fancy city slicker.

I heard tell it’s some kinda cartoon from Japan. Yeah, one of them anime things. My grandkids, they watch ’em all the time. Always glued to that darn screen. This Kill la Kill, they say it’s real popular. Somethin’ about fightin’ and schoolgirls. Lord knows what they come up with these days.
- Story, they say it’s wild Sounds like a whole lotta ruckus to me. Fightin’ and yellin’, probably. Just like them other cartoons.
- DVDs, remember those? Kids these days, they watch everything on their phones or computers. But back in my day, we had these things called DVDs. Shiny discs, you put ’em in a machine, and a movie plays. Fancy stuff, it was. This Kill la Kill, they got it on DVDs, so I guess some folks still like ’em.
- Where to get it? Heard tell you can find these DVDs all over the place. Ebay, they say, is a good spot. Folks sellin’ ’em cheap, sometimes even for a dollar! Can you believe it? A whole cartoon for a dollar. And this Zavvi place too, they got it. Sounds like a big store, sellin’ all sorts of things. Pop culture, they call it. Hmph.
Now, this Kill la Kill, it ain’t just any ol’ cartoon, see? It’s made by some fellas named Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima. Big names, apparently. They worked together before, on another cartoon, somethin’ about drillin’ and the sky. My nephew, he loves that one. Says it’s the best thing ever. So, if these fellas are behind Kill la Kill, I guess it must be pretty good. Or at least, that’s what folks are sayin’.
I ain’t watched it myself, mind you. I got better things to do than stare at a screen all day. Got chores to do, chickens to feed, garden to tend. But from what I hear, this Kill la Kill is a real humdinger. Action-packed, they say. Lots of fightin’, like I said before. And schoolgirls. Don’t quite understand why them schoolgirls are always fightin’, but that’s just how these cartoons are, I reckon. Always somethin’ strange goin’ on.
If you’re lookin’ to buy this Kill la Kill DVD, well, like I said, Ebay and Zavvi are the places to go. They got deals, they say. Free shippin’ too, sometimes. Saves you a trip to the store, which is always a good thing in my book. Less time drivin’, more time for sittin’ on the porch and watchin’ the world go by.
And let me tell ya somethin’ else, they got all sorts of Kill la Kill stuff, not just DVDs. Steelbooks, they call ’em. Fancy metal cases, I guess. And merchandise, whatever that is. T-shirts, probably. Maybe even hats. Kids these days, they love wearin’ cartoons on their clothes. Goes to show ya, times have changed.
So, there you have it. My two cents on this Kill la Kill DVD thing. Ain’t no expert, mind you. Just a plain ol’ person, tellin’ it like it is. If you like them fightin’ cartoons, then go ahead and get it. If not, well, ain’t nobody forcin’ ya. Just do what makes you happy, that’s what I always say.

But one last thing, don’t go spendin’ all your money on these DVDs. Got to save some for a rainy day, ya know? And don’t forget to eat your vegetables. That’s more important than any cartoon, let me tell ya.
