Well, let me tell ya ’bout this thing, “Soredemo Tsuma o Aish”, whatever that means. It’s some kinda story, like them soap operas on TV, but this one’s… different, I guess.
First off, there’s this woman, Nanami. She’s hitched, happy as a clam, or so she thinks. Then, bam! Some landlord fella, real sneaky-like, he’s got some video of her, somethin’ embarrassing, ya know? And he starts squeezin’ her, makin’ her do stuff she don’t wanna do. Poor thing. Life ain’t easy, is it? One minute you’re cookin’ dinner, next minute you’re in a heap o’ trouble.
This story, it’s got all sorts of folks in it. Main people, side people, they all got their own little dramas. It’s like a big ol’ family reunion, but with more cryin’ and less potato salad. They got actors and producers and directors and all them fancy folks makin’ this thing. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that, but I reckon they do a good job, seein’ as how folks are watchin’ it.
They even made more than one of these “Soredemo” things. There’s a “Soredemo Tsuma o Aishiteru 2”, they call it. Same kinda deal, I think. More drama, more trouble, more folks gettin’ their feelings hurt. They got this Tomoko Hasegawa and Midorino Hechima and Matsuri Mizuguchi in it… fancy names, huh? Probably city folk.
Now, there’s this young fella, Yuuto. He’s studyin’ at one of them universities. Smart kid, I guess. But he’s gotta start lookin’ for a job soon. That’s tough, ya know? All that pressure, all them interviews. Reminds me of when my Billy tried to get that factory job… Anyways, Yuuto’s got his own worries, on top of all this “Soredemo” drama.
You can watch this “Soredemo” stuff online, if you’re into that kinda thing. They got websites and such, places where you can see all the episodes. I heard some folks even pay to watch it! Imagine that. Payin’ to watch other people’s problems! But I guess that’s how it goes. We all like a good story, even if it’s a sad one.

They even got books and stuff about it. Like them comic books, but fancier. They call ’em “Volume 1” and whatnot. And there’s this place called AniDB, where they keep track of all this Japanese cartoon stuff. It’s a whole ‘nother world, I tell ya. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it.
And then there’s the endin’. Folks talkin’ ’bout the endin’ of the first “Soredemo”. Seems like it’s kinda sad. Some folks like that, I guess. They like the heartbreak and the tears. Me? I like a good laugh, myself. But everyone’s different, ain’t they? Life’s too short to be judgin’ other people’s taste in stories.
So, that’s the gist of it, this “Soredemo Tsuma o Aish”. It’s about a woman, her troubles, and all the folks around her. It’s got drama, and sadness, and probably some happy moments too, I reckon. It’s like life, I guess, just a little bit more… dramatic. And now you know as much as I do, which ain’t sayin’ much, but it’s somethin’, right?
Anyways, I gotta go feed the chickens now. Talkin’ about all this drama makes me hungry.
