Alright, let’s talk about this “Comic Unreal” thing, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would jabber about. But from what I gather, it’s got somethin’ to do with them picture books, you know, the ones with all the drawings. Comics, they call ’em.

Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, mind you. I prefer a good ol’ TV show myself, somethin’ with real people. But these comics, they seem to be a big deal for some folks. This “Comic Unreal,” it seems like it’s a whole bunch of different stories mashed together. Kinda like a stew, you got yer potatoes, yer carrots, yer meat, all in one pot. Only here, it’s different artists drawin’ different tales.
One thing I heard is that some of these stories got these… “monster girls” in ’em. Lord have mercy! I don’t even wanna think about what that means. Sounds like somethin’ outta a nightmare. But hey, to each their own, I guess. If folks wanna read about monster girls, that’s their business. It ain’t hurtin’ nobody, far as I can tell.
- They say some are about love, go figure.
- Some got fightin’, like them action movies my grandson watches.
- And some… well, some are just plain weird, from what I hear.
This “Comic Unreal” ain’t just one book, see? It’s like a whole series, they keep makin’ new ones. Volume this, volume that. And they got all sorts of things you can buy, too. Figures, they call ’em. Little statues of them characters. Folks collect ’em, put ’em on shelves. Reminds me of my porcelain dolls, only these are… well, these are different, that’s for sure.
You can buy these comics and figures all over the place, it seems. Even on that “E-bay” thing my nephew talks about. He’s always buyin’ and sellin’ junk on there. Says you can find anything your heart desires. Guess that includes “Comic Unreal.” They even got different versions, special editions, all that jazz. Makes my head spin, all this fuss over picture books.
And then there’s the prices! Lordy, some of these things cost a pretty penny. You could buy a whole week’s worth of groceries for what some folks spend on one little figure. But I guess if it makes ’em happy, who am I to judge? We all got our little vices, ain’t we? Mine’s a good cup of coffee and a slice of apple pie.
I heard tell some of these stories in “Comic Unreal” talk about dieting and stuff. Seems like even in these fantasy worlds, folks are worried about their weight. Can’t even escape that in a picture book, can ya? Makes you think, doesn’t it? All this fuss over lookin’ a certain way. Just be yourself, I say. That’s good enough for me.

So, this “Comic Unreal”… it’s a big ol’ mix of things. Monster girls, love stories, action, weirdness, and a whole lotta stuff to buy. It ain’t my cup of tea, but it seems to make a lot of folks happy. And as long as they ain’t causin’ no trouble, I reckon they can read whatever they darn well please. That’s what makes this country so great, right? Freedom to do what you want, even if it means readin’ about monster girls.
It’s funny, ain’t it? How things change. Back in my day, we had comic books, sure, but they were simple. Superman, Batman, that kinda stuff. Now you got all these different genres, all these different artists. It’s a whole different world. And “Comic Unreal,” well, it seems to be a part of that world. A big part, from what I can tell.
So, there you have it. My take on this “Comic Unreal.” Not that anyone asked, mind you. But I figured I’d share my thoughts anyway. Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some dinner. Got a hankerin’ for some fried chicken.
