Alright, so, let’s talk about this “Nip and Suck It” thing, whatever that is. Sounds kinda funny, don’t it? Like somethin’ a baby would do, or maybe somethin’ my old dog used to do with his chew toy. Anyways, I heard tell it’s somethin’ on that TV, one of them shows the young’uns watch. Somethin’ called “Psych,” I think. Never seen it myself, mind you. Too busy with my own chores, feedin’ the chickens and all.
From what I gather, this “Nip and Suck It” ain’t about babies or dogs, though. Seems like it’s about some fella dyin’ after gettin’ all fixed up by a doctor. You know, one of them fancy doctors that cuts folks open and makes ‘em look all different. Plastic surgery, they call it. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. Why go messin’ with what the good Lord gave ya? But then again, folks do all sorts of strange things these days.
Anyways, this lady, Shelly somethin’-or-other, she goes in for this surgery and ends up dead as a doornail. Now, that ain’t right. Makes ya wonder what that doctor was doin’, huh? Sounds like he messed up somethin’ fierce. Or maybe it wasn’t an accident at all? That’s what them fellas on the TV show, Shawn and Gus, they try to figure out.
- They’re like detectives, I guess. Poke around, askin’ questions, lookin’ for clues. Just like them fellas on the real police shows, but maybe a little goofier, from what I hear.
- Seems like they suspect this doctor right off the bat. Makes sense, I reckon. He’s the one who was cuttin’ on her. But it ain’t always that simple, is it? Sometimes things ain’t what they seem.
- Then there’s somethin’ about Henry, the old fella findin’ the body. Sounds like he was out bird-watchin’, which ain’t a bad way to spend a day. But then he gets all mixed up in this mess. And wants to solve it himself, like he’s some big shot detective too. Fellas and their egos, always gotta be the one in charge.
Now, I ain’t no detective, but I’ve seen my share of things. And I know that folks ain’t always honest. That doctor could be lyin’, tryin’ to cover somethin’ up. Or maybe it was someone else altogether. Maybe it wasn’t the surgery at all. Maybe somethin’ else happened to that poor woman. You just never know.
This Shawn and Gus, they seem to have their work cut out for ‘em. Gotta figure out what really happened to Shelly. And from what I hear, they do it in a funny way. Jokin’ around, makin’ silly faces. I don’t know how they get anythin’ done, actin’ like that. But I guess that’s just their way.
And then there’s this other fella, Gus. I heard somethin’ about him feelin’ his face again. Don’t rightly know what that means. Maybe he got numbed up somehow? Or maybe it’s just one of them silly jokes them TV fellas like to make. Hard to keep up with these youngsters and their crazy talk.
So, this “Nip and Suck It” episode, sounds like it’s got a little bit of everythin’. A dead body, a suspicious doctor, some goofy detectives, and a whole lotta questions. Keeps you guessin’, I reckon. That’s what makes a good story, ain’t it? Even if it’s a story about somethin’ as strange as plastic surgery gone wrong.
Now, I ain’t gonna tell you how it all ends up. Don’t want to spoil the fun, if you decide to watch it yourself. But from what I hear, it’s a pretty good episode. Funny, and maybe a little bit sad too. ‘Cause dyin’ ain’t no laughin’ matter, no matter how it happens. And getting all fixed up just to end up dead? That’s just plain wrong.
So, there you have it. That’s my take on this “Nip and Suck It” thing. Like I said, I ain’t seen it myself, but I heard enough to know it’s a story about folks and their troubles. And ain’t that what all stories are about, in the end? Life, death, and all the crazy stuff in between. Makes you think and makes you laugh. I guess that’s good enough for me.
