Alright, so you wanna know about this Ben Roethlisberger and Missy Peregrym, huh? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t always easy to keep up with these young folks and their goin’s on, but I heard some things, ya know, from the TV and such.
Ben Roethlisberger, that’s the football fella, right? Big fella, plays that quarterback thing for the Steelers, or used to, I think. Folks ’round here, they sure do love their football. Always yellin’ at the TV, win or lose. Anyways, this Ben fella, he was a big deal, I reckon.
And then there’s this Missy Peregrym. Now, she’s a pretty little thing, an actress, they say. Canadian, I heard. Don’t know much about Canada, ‘cept it’s cold up there, real cold. She was in some movies and TV shows, I guess. Folks like to watch ’em on the tellie, ya know, those moving pictures.
So, these two, Ben and Missy, they were a thing for a while, a “couple” they call it. Like back in my day, when a fella and a gal would court. Only these young folks, they do it all different, faster, I reckon. It was a while back, maybe around 2007 or 2008, somethin’ like that. Don’t hold me to it, my memory ain’t what it used to be.
Some folks say they only dated for a little bit, till February 2008, somethin’ like that. But then I heard tell that Ben was seen with Missy at a movie premiere in 2009, the “Watchmen” movie, they called it. So maybe they were on again, off again, like them young folks do. Can’t never make up their minds, it seems.
Missy, she was a sporty gal, I heard. Played all sorts of games, like soccer and that hockey on the ice. Reminds me of my grandbaby, always runnin’ around, full of energy. Missy, she even started out as a model, posin’ for pictures and such. Then she got into that actin’ thing.

- She even did some snowboarding. Can you imagine? Snowboarding! I’d break a hip for sure.
Now, Ben, he was busy with his football, and Missy, she was busy with her actin’. Maybe that’s why it didn’t last. Or maybe they just weren’t meant to be. That’s how it goes sometimes, ain’t it? You meet someone, you think it’s forever, and then, poof, it’s gone.
Relationships, they ain’t easy, no matter who you are, football star or movie star. Takes a lot of work, a lot of understandin’. And sometimes, even then, it just don’t work out. That’s life, I guess. Full of ups and downs, twists and turns.
Now, Missy, she’s all grown up and has a family of her own. She’s got a husband and a couple of young’uns, a boy and a girl. Good for her, I say. Settled down, happy, that’s what matters. Don’t know much about what Ben’s doin’ these days. Probably retired from that football thing by now. These young fellas, they don’t play forever, ya know.
Anyways, that’s the gist of it, as far as I know. Ben and Missy, a little fling, a little romance, a long time ago. Now they’ve both moved on, got their own lives. That’s how it should be.
It’s like I always say, time moves on, and so do people. You can’t hold onto the past, gotta look forward to what’s coming. That’s the only way to live, I reckon.
