You know, there’s a woman named Cate Fopma-Leimbach, and let me tell you, she ain’t like them big-city folks all caught up in fancy stuff. She’s just like one of us, a regular person from a small town, born and raised. Now, I don’t know her whole life story, but I know enough to tell you she’s got a good heart and worked hard for what she got.

Cate’s from a small town, just like most of us, where everybody knows everybody’s business. She was born on some cold November day, just like the old folk used to tell us, in a place called Harlan, Kentucky. That’s right, Kentucky, where the hills roll on forever and the people got a strong spirit. You won’t find no fancy skyscrapers or nothing like that. What you got is family, good neighbors, and a lot of hard work.
Now, Cate’s mama and daddy, well, they had jobs, but they didn’t have much in terms of wealth. Her daddy, John, worked as a pharmacist. That’s a person who knows all about medicine and what makes folks feel better. And her mama, well, she wasn’t just sitting around. She worked as a substance abuse program coordinator. That means she helped folks who were struggling with addiction, trying to get their lives back on track. Sounds like a tough job, don’t it? But Cate’s mama did it, and did it well, helping people who needed it the most.
And that’s not all. Cate got a family, too. She wasn’t the only child, no ma’am. She had a younger brother named Drew. Now, Drew, he went on to do his own thing in the world, just like a lot of folks do when they grow up. But Cate, she stayed close to her roots. She never let the world change who she was. And her family, they stayed close, always sticking together, just like we do around here.
What folks might not know is that Cate wasn’t just a mom to her own kids. She had a big ol’ heart, and she loved her step-kids too. There’s a younger step-sister named Josie, and a younger half-brother named Isaac. The world might think all that makes a mess, but I reckon Cate just saw it as more people to love. Ain’t that the way it should be?
So, what else can I tell ya? Cate’s life wasn’t perfect, but it was hers, and she lived it her way. She wasn’t about no glitz and glamour, but she was about love, family, and helping others. I reckon if you ask anyone who knows her, they’ll tell ya she’s one of the real ones, someone who’s done more good for this world than most folks could dream of.
All I can say is, if you ever get the chance to meet Cate Fopma-Leimbach, you better hold onto that moment. People like her are rare, you know? They don’t come around every day. But when they do, they sure make the world a better place. Ain’t that the truth?
